  • So the penalty was cancelling a licence she did not have, drug rehab she should be going to anyway, and 100 hours of community work. So really the only penalty is 100 hours of community work. What happened to community expectations? No wonder crime is rising in Vic. Meanwhile the victim who had their car stolen, gets an inadequate payout from the rip-off insurance company and increased premiums because of the claim. Plus if it was stolen near their house, the crime statistics for their street go up and so does their house insurance premium. Plus the taxpayers have to pay for damaged police cars, and for higher police numbers for dealing with repeat offenders. How long until the police pick her up again? How about a "GoFundMe" to build more prison cells? Who's in?

      @OffGridInvestor@OffGridInvestor4 жыл бұрын
    • @@OffGridInvestor well that just isn't true and the aboriginal kids stealing is a result of what happened to a past generation. If you don't think so, then your just as ignorant as the rest. Let's put these kids in places with drug addicted parents and alcoholic elders and see how they grow up in society? But we said sorry as a nation and hand out free money like that solves the issue. I'm half Maori half Australia and live in a relatively nice area here in Sydney, made money and still get marginalised. People joke and say I'm a drug dealer or a scaffolder, but if I was a white Aussie it would be normal, that's the problem. Just like your backwards BS thinking.

    • By my count (and ignoring the non-driving related charges) it's:- - using false plates - dangerous driving - 2 counts (rammed another car at the start of the chase + the chase itself) - leaving the scene of an accident - failing to stop for police - unlicensed driving - drive uninsured vehicle We don't need guns, but that's very light when a speeding fine can result in 12 months suspended regardless of where it occurred. Ramming the police car at the start should have resulted in jail time right away.
