    • People are saying oh, Eubanks talks a lot, so he should have his own show. That's not how it works. Don't conflate being loquacious with being a good interviewer. Lecturers showcase their depth of knowledge for people to sit & absorb. The best interviewers, however, are there to actively listen, ask insightful follow up questions, & let their guests speak. Eubanks makes the mistake of being too eager to show off his tennis trivia & be the center of attention instead of serving as an access point for others to share their perspectives. People are here to connect to Ruby, the highest ranked, most successful player at that table, not watch Eubanks steal the spotlight. There will be plenty of time to talk after Chris' career stalls out & he returns to Tennis Channel to commentate on superior players.

It seems like it was really that, a conversation which had its silences, its arguments, because these players are actually talking to each other about anything. Appreciate how unscripted this is!
