Shoutout to Predator 2. Almost forgotten & underrated movie that expanded allot of the knowledge we know about Yautja in general & their clans.
It’s strange because I haven’t seen a single person not like Predator 2 when it’s supposedly underrated.

@LibtardsStill CantSilenceMe12 Yeah I like Predator 2 too. Keyes was a really cool and I enjoyed how the Predator Hunting Grounds video game gave him more of a story involving Dutch (even though I don't really like the game myself)

Too little content with too much paid dlc and poor servers with the super awesome and interesting story that their writers cooked up being relegated to a few collectible recordings instead of y’know, actually giving the game a single player with said story. Gameplay is pretty fun though and it’s cool to see Arnold back in his old role.
@@l.pricetag.5207 it's got a cult following. I would say everybody I know who isn't a predator fan has said it sucks. I'm a huge predator fan and it sucks to me too lol. So here's one. It's mainly because Danny Glover isn't a great actor to me. But also because how dumb hunting in a cityscape is.
Fun fact: Serpent hunter predator often times will not use his biomask’s vision features to prove his hunting prowess. He also acts like a xenomorph on hunts too.
*The Rogue Space Tribe* is another SUPER deadly clan too. Great video!
Rogue Space Tribe has the most advanced Technology, they hunt Robots and A.I. because living Beings are no Match for their Weaponry. By far my Favourite Clan!

I want to see a Yautja extended universe where they dive into the backstories of the planet and the clans
We actually know quite a bit about the Yautja backstory as a species. Originally, they were a species known as Hish-qu-ten, a lesser evolved version of the Yautja, they were smaller, weaker and generally much less smart than the current Yautja. The Hish were essentially just beast, a primitive race with little to no technology. That was until their planet was found by a race of intelligent insectoids known as the Amengi. The amengi were an immensly advanced space faring species, who enslaved the then primitive Hish and used them basically as cattle, through careful breeding and genetic manipulation, they changed the Hish to better suit their needs, usually acting as servants and fighting in gladiator arenas. The Amengi's cruel rule would come to an end, however - when one Hish, who was unusually smart and big, taller than even most today's Yautja, would organize a rebellion hidden in the shadows. This Hish was known as Kaail, also called the Alpha Predator, or The First Hunter. And was easily recognizable by the fact that he was an Albino. Kaail, like I said before - was unusually smart and strong and he used his intellect to organize a rebellion and unite the other powerful Hish who served most of the high-ranking Amengi. The Amengi grew lazy and weak over the centuries because of their easy lifestyle, and so they were practically powerless when the Hish all rebelled, led by their new leader, and first hunter, Kaail. The Amengi would be hunted to near extinction, and the few that survived were enslaved. The Hish would then absorb the Amengi's advanced technology into their culture, and improve upon it as well over the centuries. Kaail would later also fashion himself an armor made from the exoskeleton of one of the Amengi (I like to think that it was the body of his own master), as well a biomask made from one of the Amengi and would take his title as the leader and first hunter. Over the millennia, the Hish would eventually change and evolve into today's Yautja, improving upon the technology of the Amengi and eventually became the Apex species in the galaxy. And even to this day - the story of Kaail, the Hish and The Amengi is still passed on so the younger generations would never forget their history and how they came to be.

Those trophies are believed to belong to City Hunter, not the tribe as a whole. And to think, City Hunter was still being evaluated. Makes you wonder how high must they set the bar to become a member of the Lost Tribe.
How are they believed to just the City Hunter's trophies? I actually kind of like that, but gotta believe the dinosaur monster skull is definitely the Elder's. I'm not questioning you, I'm just hungry for more Predator lore. Was it in the comics?

There is no way those belong to a predator who got killed by a human.
One detail I noticed from the movie was that as Harrigan is walking into the ship the same pattern or engravings appear on each section of the left wall. And this same pattern appears as the ship leaves and it closes over those trophies. This led me to have more belief that they were in the City Hunters individual trophies. Like each member of the clan has a trophy display on the ship. Just a theory of course

Gotta admit, I was certainly rooting for the Dark Blade Clan as number 1. Since they hold a special place in my heart in terms of lore (what lore available). I have mixed feelings of the Elite Clan since its pretty much too on the nose, and they are subservient (at least to my understanding) to the council instead of true autonomy. Your reasonings are definitely much better compared to others who made a similar list, but I will still root for the Dark Blade Clan as number one for this enthusiast of the sci-fi genre. Solid video and thanks for this list! : )

This is fascinating stuff. Didn’t know this about the predators. Would you name the clans each predator falls into from each movie series?
They should make a movie about a predator clan set in the future hunting and training on different planets. If thought out in advance they could make a trilogy on this along and still make movies set in the past like Pry. Kind of the way they have been making Star Wars movies along with off shoots of specific characters.
Just different species would be coll enough. Future stuff would have to be retconned too often. Like that awful new predator movie from a few years ago. It made things too wierd.

Just watched prey and no spoilers but I knew that old gun looked familiar.
Since i was a kid ive always been into predators created perfectly good job on this video.
They need to make a show about the yautja
They really do need more information on the serpent clan. Viper is one of the coolest clan leaders but we get nothing about his actual clan. Someone needs to make a book about the serpent clan.
I like the Predators/Yautja but they are not all that powerful. But in a lot of ways that’s what I like about them. That they have to be skilled hunters and warriors, that they don’t just rely on how powerful they are.

Getting the darkblade clan skin in predator concrete jungle was easily my favorite they’re such a killer clan
I want to know if snake is better then his brother viper and is it by vipers orders that snake tags along with greyback or does snake run the serpent clan and has left his brother in charge been looking for info on this as there relationship as brothers is not really explained

What's your thought on the Feral Predator in Prey? From watching the movie it looks to be like hes learning, starting with the Rattlesnake, wolf and then the grizzley bear!
IMO this Yautja come from a more tribal clan that prefer a ancient style of hunting. Hence his tech isn't so high tech compared to WOLF (AVP2) . remember they were already highly advanced in ancient Egypt and seen as GODS . also this is about at most 350 years before Predator 1 .I think this is a young blood if you know how yautja is ranked . probably out of training and learning to hunt. getting ready to hunt bigger prey like xenomorph to become blooded. Pity this hunter got killed off . would have loved the predator wins for a change but great movie overall . Also dont like calling it feral . Maybe tribal predator
@@GamezKAO if I'm not mistaken, the director of this film has stated that this yautja is from the "feral" clan hence the name. They're a clan in the southern hemisphere on Yautja Prime. Also, explains the facial features being different

We now know the pistol was not given to them by a pirate. It was a French hunter. He gave the pistol to Naru the Native warrior. She used it to wound the Feral predator and then gave it to her tribe. We have yet to see how the predators get the gun back in their possession.
In the end credits scenes (the cartoon-like drawings) it's sort of hinted that the predators returned.
The pistol wasn't in the preds possession yet so they may have still got it from a pirate lol

Lmao it’s crazy how you started off by saying they didn’t get it the way that the writers say they did, just to end by saying you actually have no clue. Just think for a second the movie is based on the first hunt in America, maybe AFTER that the gun changed hands. Probably was given to them because of a story that surrounded the gun and actually made it worth what it was, they didn’t need the tech the PIRATE probably treasure that was way cooler why else would he give it to them or why else would they accept it if it didn’t mean something?

The Predator that came down on the one Predator versus Alien requiem and thought the Predator alien that guy was a badass he was my favorite predator bad guy kick ass when he came to Earth and he fought the Predator alien until they dropped the bomb in the middle of the city that that Predator was a bad ass and will always be my favorite one

I would really like a movie occuring ont he Predators planet/ city, that would get us an insight about their societies and ways of life. Somehow I've always personnally imagined their world as being very similar to the one depicted in the video game classic "Another World". This is only me making that link.

Die hard fans, and most people hate that movie for multiple good reasons. It was a cluster fuck. Put it this way. No Yautja would splice their genes with human, xenomorphs or anything else. It goes against their culture and honour code. Predaliens are an abomination to full blood Predators. Thats why predalien was hunted down by only an experienced veteran hunter. To make sure job would be done in AvP requiem. Story goes Shane Black had a better story worked out for the Predator 2018. Movie producers kept messing with the screen play etc. A small kid working out how to work a Yautja bio helmet is ridiculous on its own. And preds would never splice their genes with dogs either. Movie was a B movie fail on all levels. And will never be accepted as canon by the die hard fans for good reasons. It paid no attention to the canon lore from the comics or books on Predator verse and culture that have been around since 89'. Basically that huge alien genes spliced bio engineered Predator was from no clan in the proper Predator verse. It was bullshit, just like the movie just saying. This O.P put together the top 5 clans , fella knows his stuff alot better than Shane Black. Or the dummy Hollywood producers that churned out Predator 2018 just saying.

Based on the comic predator 1718 , the pistol was given by a pirate to the predator , the pirate later died.. the movie PREY back dates to 1719, shows a french guy giving the the pistol to naru.. the question is: how did the french hunter ended up having the pistol in 1719? Or maybe there is no relation between the movie prey and the comic

Clan Leader from the NECA/Kenner toylines is undoubtedly the strongest. 2nd for me is scarface. I see only ahab giving him a good fight. Prince and dark are contenders but I don’t see them beating Scarface
Is it been confirmed that the skull seen in the trophy display is a Xenomorph skull? I know that there has been some debate about this, and when it was first seen in Predator 2, people immediately connected 'Alien' to 'Predator'. Of course, the movies didn't really make it part of the same story, as they were terrible (should've went by the comics). It's my hope that a true 'Alien Vs. Predator' movie will be made that features the Colonial Marines like in Dark Horse comics.

Anyone here after the new predator aka prey movie and realize at some point greyback, city hunter warriors and the rest also came I to contact with the Comanche tribe and naru I been drinking may need to rewatch but I'm 98% sure that's the same pistol that the Spanish man who got his legs cut off gave to Naru and showed her how to use it

In predator hunting grounds the Dutch tape Napoleon states the the female predators were more deadlier than the males. The Widow clan is the deadliest Yautja clan.
