DIY #6 | Bed Frame & Nightstand

2022 ж. 4 Нау.

Hi, it's been a while since my last video.
I made this bed frame and nightstand more than a year ago and still regret some of my choices.
The most regretful thing is finishing the furniture.
I tried OSMO polyx oil, but I FAILED so many times whenever I applied it on white oak plywood. Even though I applied 3-4 coats, it dried with an uneven sheen and didn't protect the wood from water or whatever liquid.
The oil worked so well with solid wood, but somehow it didn't work with the plywood I used.
I followed the direction from OSMO and tried every method on the internet too, but all failed.
If someone has a problem like me or a suggestion, please leave your comment.
Thank you for watching. See you soon!

  • How long have you been gone. I began to worry and worry about you, but when I saw the notification I couldn't believe my eyes. I am glad that you, as always, laconically and with a soul, made this extraordinary creation, and it costs a lot when work with a soul is done. Thank you. Big greetings to you from Russia. Looking

  • Thanks for making this for us to watch!!! Great design, awesome woodworking skills - I especially liked the draw pulls. A real master class in using jigs. The filming style, editing and soundtrack made for one of the most pleasant KZhead videos I have seen in a long time. Well worth the wait and I will be patiently looking forward to the next one.
