I always loved the premise of this anime. As an individual with no interest in cooperation or concern for others you may be strong, however, when you cooperate and grow with others you become far more resilient and powerful. Migi was an incredible protagonist and his character arc was fantastic.

I was hoping for a fight where he was severely outnumbered, or perhaps his physical participation in the raid on the parasites' political party. Instead the police slaughter most of the parasites, then get slaughtered by the last one

Kanna was an okay character but I didn't like how she was killed. Shinichi told her not to be stupid but there she went. Only having her dream making her feel safe. Haaaaa, that and she was a stalker for the most part. Going nuts for him and all. But can't blame her, Shinichi is pretty awesome :3

She was a stalking shinichi because she was able to feel something coming from him. Imagine whenever you were close to someone you get a specific sensation, which you never had before, so you want to get to know it better. I'm pretty sure if she didn't feel anything like that she wouldn't have stalked him even if she had still fell in love. Getting to experience a feeling you never had before is intriguing and she wanted to "explore" it. As for her dying yeah she was dumb but she really didn't know the magnitude of the situation until shit got real. She was blinded by love and ignorance.

Shinichi won't just tell her the truth or anything. She just thought that she and Shinichi are connected in destiny or something(why would she think she has an super gifted ability anyway?)

Don't count out anime just because of the stereotypes you might hold. It's just another form of storytelling: it can be crap or well-written stories. I used to count out KDramas too for that very reason, but I realized it's wrong. Sure there are shitty animes out there, so do shitty KDramas and shitty Netflix, HBO, Amazon shows.

The battle with the strongest parasite ended abruptly, but I think the way it ended was the best. As Tamura also said, parasites are strong as individuals but weak as species. So Goto lost because of environmental pollution created by mighty humans.

Christ this show was so good. I watched it right after reading the manga for the first time. Some of the characters look wildly different, but I got used to it quickly. In the end it mattered little, because they kept the amazing plot.

She was a stalking shinichi because she was able to feel something coming from him. Imagine whenever you were close to someone you get a specific sensation, which you never had before, so you want to get to know it better. I'm pretty sure if she didn't feel anything like that she wouldn't have stalked him even if she had still fell in love. Getting to experience a feeling you never had before is intriguing and she wanted to "explore" it. As for her dying yeah she was dumb but she really didn't know the magnitude of the situation until shit got real. She was blinded by love and ignorance.

Shinichi won't just tell her the truth or anything. She just thought that she and Shinichi are connected in destiny or something(why would she think she has an super gifted ability anyway?)
I loved this ending. It is too harsh on Izumi to lose another he loved and such a farwell from migi
It was like parasyte was forgotten for a long time. More people should watch it.
"The strike will enter through my right shoulder and exit my left side. I'll die instantly." Probably one of few animes that had me think that was the end, the part that followed had me mega hyped. Also, the small scene of Izumi and Migi after the rock throw.
Never cared for Anime but saw one of these and watched the whole thing. Masterpiece.
It's well written and (perhaps most importantly) it's NOT 750 episodes long!!!
Don't count out anime just because of the stereotypes you might hold. It's just another form of storytelling: it can be crap or well-written stories. I used to count out KDramas too for that very reason, but I realized it's wrong. Sure there are shitty animes out there, so do shitty KDramas and shitty Netflix, HBO, Amazon shows.

The battle with the strongest parasite ended abruptly, but I think the way it ended was the best. As Tamura also said, parasites are strong as individuals but weak as species. So Goto lost because of environmental pollution created by mighty humans.

Christ this show was so good. I watched it right after reading the manga for the first time. Some of the characters look wildly different, but I got used to it quickly. In the end it mattered little, because they kept the amazing plot.
