  • Dustin has been my favorite fighter for 10 years, which is why i wasn’t super happy he was fighting Michael. So much respect for jumping on the pod win or lose, and leaving it on the line for us all to see the emotions. I’ve fought before and I know how much goes into it, especially the moment the cage closes. Nothing but respect and I’ll continue to root for you until you deservingly decide to leave the gloves in the center.

I understand being a casual mma fan but if you have the gift of having chandler on again please prepare better more precise questions for him. Not that I’m saying he is the greatest mma fighter of all time but he doesn’t need to be patronized by people who have never rolled asking him why he gasses so much I mean for the love of god he was a legend in bellator. I’m not going to knock you guys you seem great at football casting but maybe watch morning kombat , one of the other reptutable podcasts, or more ufc to get a better grasp at what exact questions to ask. Best of luck in the future.

  • The thing is, is that these top guys can feel your presence and pressure, and overcome their own self doubt and pull through to victory. You’re mindset fighting these Bellator guys and Dan hooker 145lbs, won’t overcome the best in the world in the ufc. You did absolutely everything you could to break porier, started better, then he didn’t break and came back that same round. You out wrestled him, beat him and wore him for an entire 2nd round. Didn’t break him. And he came back through all adversity and finished you. You need to change something obviously. Orr just you aren’t THAT guy

    @cemoney365@cemoney365 Жыл бұрын
    • What are you on about? So he's not a top 3 guy at 35 or whatever he is lmao who cares. If Dustin doesn't grab his foot when he was tryna put his hooks in then he probably wins that fight. And Hooker was not at 145 when Chandler fought him. Hooker had just gone to war with Dustin and almost finished him in the 2nd round at 155. Hooker only dropped to 145 after the Islam fight, and then went back to 155 when Arnold Allen sparked him.

  • I feel like Chandler would benefit from a sports psychiatrist, because if you notice he always kind of loses the same way, he comes in guns blazing almost wins than gasses out and has momentary loss of focus and loses the fight. I think it's a mental thing..

    @nickk7425@nickk7425 Жыл бұрын
    • You made many good points. I think Chandler's biggest problem isn't that he doesn't follow a gameplan because it's actually his terrible defensive abilities and bad instincts, which backfires on his strong start, which again is due to him being aggressive because aggression also makes up for experience and lack of knowledge of the unknown, which is unpredictable unless you dictate the fight overall, mostly on the ground in MMA or by taking away hope... Besides, his wrestling is good but not the best. Got great explosive takedowns but not enough effective offensive wrestling and submissions along with just average ground control.. He is too consistent at a high pace during a performance instead of having more discipline to make adjustments and placing his momentum and rhythm in a smarter manner, which his coaches should have explained him. Also, it has to be controlled aggression instead of being too reckless, but that's why he is extremely exciting and fun to watch. Chandler might show the media and the fans that he is a friendly family man, but judging by the way he fights; it's obvious that he has a temperament that is attached to his emotional side and aggressive way of projecting a message. They all reveal themselves inside the octagon or the ring. But gotta appreciate all the exciting fights throughout the years.

      @alcottdevalte7440@alcottdevalte7440 Жыл бұрын
    • I don’t think it’s mental at all. He’s had plenty of high level fights & won a lot of those fights I think it’s more of going off script. Getting a lil punch happy or maybe sees something he can attack but it doesn’t go as planned type of thing. He’s a badass fighter I’m a fan forsure I just think he gets jumpy for the finish at times & when he can’t execute it’s kills him & drains him.
