  • Playing on a superflat makes you realize just about everything in minecraft is sustainable, except sand, dirt and lava sources. After two years, I'm gonna clarify that before anybody really told me, I figured out dirt is sustainable and that sand dupers exist and dripstone exists thank you very much. Just getting a sample of it or the materials required can be difficult if you have only one piece of dirt and a tree like skyfactory

  • Just some tips: you could have killed the iron golem for iron, and use your spare iron sword with no fire aspect because fire aspect makes endermen more annoying to kill. Also use your iron for a sheild

  • The best way to get iron is to kill iron golems at villages just hit or run the build a 3 block structure and hit it from there and it won’t be able to attack you or if you’re on windows you need to build 4 block structure

  • Guy basically hit the jackpot with those books but couldn't think of killing Iron Golems to get enough iron to put sharpness&sweeping edge on that diamond sword and infinity on a bow, even though he actually saw a Golem getting killed. Also pretty sure that's Java Edition so the lack of a shield disturbs me. Bonus points for acting like water is rare despite easily available infinite sources and not planting samplings or crops for potential trading.

  • Fun fact: The reason slimes spawn so plentifully is because of slime chunks. If you don't know what those are, about 10% of the chunks (16x16 areas in your world that extend to the sky and to bedrock) will be slime chunks, which cause slimes to spawn under Y=40. Since superflat worlds are much lower than Y=40, slimes spawn plentifully.

    • No, the wood is still there since the fire transferred over to the nether portal which is why the wood didn't burn. After the netehr portal got lit, THEN the wood can burn.
