Hi Ashley, I actually had a question. Is there any other to wash the dogs beds? I ask because my husband is very....meticulous and he doesnt want anything that was used for the dogs to touch the washer or dryer. Im left with hand waahing, but if you have any other recommendations that would b a huge help for me
A tip I learned guys: once in a while flip your rugs over and vacuum and steam clean them bottom side up.
oh yeah! Flip them over and vaccuum before shampooing or getting them wet you'll have a pile of broken down fibers and dirt AKA sand 🤢

I boil my brushes sometimes. That sanitize them I think.
I will say the Steamshot is really great for base boards and “behind” areas you only get to periodically. I used it for my entire house base boards this spring and it was a life saver. Also great for deep cleaning kitchen appliances!
Good to know. I bought one last week for my weird shower but I definitely need some help with baseboards. It’s a task I loathe.
It also is a natural sanitizer because of the heat. I use it in our vehicles for all the cracks n vents then I get in between with a sponge type paint brush
Hello I’m in Edmond Oklahoma and when I clean my windows, I used dawn soap, water and jet dry. Jet dry leave your windows streak free. Maybe give that a try next time
I put some essential oil’s or fabric softener or fabric spray into my steamer and go around and spray my furniture with it and it makes it smell amazing and it last longer I also have brick in my house and I steam clean my bricks with it and not only does it clean my brick but it makes them smell so good I love that steamer

I like these cleaning tool suggestions and have added some items to my Amazon cart. I’m on a quest to completely refresh my home, so your tips & honest product recommendations provide real motivation. You also convinced me in a previous video to purchase an accessory kit to clean my dryer vent. I’ve always cleaned the lint screen after every load and would use a brush to reach down into the vent, but after using the vacuum attachment, I was shocked to see the lint buildup I was missing. Thank you for sharing that as a safety issue!

That wasn’t a steam mop, just a steam shot. I have one, and it does come in handy. And $4 was an absolutely amazing find. But it’s not functional as a mop. 🙁

I love me some cleaning gadgets! The steamer is really good for deep cleaning. I do t pull it out every day but I do love it for the sanitizing effect. And for cleaning between the toilet seat and tank. And around the base. I’ll be boiling my cloths now. Lol.

If you want really clean rugs, you should be shampooing until the water youre suckin up is more clear and not brown. Then you are suppose to fill the water tank with clean non soapy water when youre done shampooing to Rinse the shampoo out of the carpet until it comes up clear. Same when mopping your floors, mop once with product then mop again with plain water to rinse the soap off the floors. This may be where you had issues with your floors always feeling too tacky after mopping with products. Just some tips if you really wanna deep clean. Great video I love your content your my top most fav. channel.

I’ve been wanting to get one of those steam shots to clean the inside of my windows. When you pull up a window, the place at the bottom of the window along the edges, it’s sooo nasty because I NEVER clean there and it looks really hard to clean. I’ve seen Jamie’s Journey use hers there and it works like magic. That’s a place I would want to use a steam shot because it would take you forever to get your hands down in there and clean the whole thing, not to mention I don’t want to put my hands down in that mess!

I purchased the Bissell steam shot months ago and I found it works great on my wooden plantation shutters I have on some of the windows in my home.

YES! I’m so glad you mentioned the dryer lint being a fire hazard! I never even knew I was supposed to clean it! I know to pull the lint holder and change that every couple of washes, but I didn’t know there was something on the outside of your house that you had to clean the lint out of. I just recently learned this last year, when we had a fire start because of it! The lint had got so backed up and it compiled so much, and then mixed in with all of the heat, it sparked and started a fire! Luckily, we were home when this happened and I smelled the smoke right away, and we were able to contain it very fast, but we were lucky! I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve thrown something in the dryer and ran out the door to go run an errand. I will never leave my washer or dryer on when I’m leaving the house again!

Also, take out the filter that you normally pull the lint from and scrub that with soap and water as fabric softener builds up on that as well and has started a fire in my home.

Beautiful home. All of these were great products. I just stumbled on your channel today. I have a Haan steamer and love it. You don’t need to use any product after steaming. It kills everything! Mine has an attachment to kill bed bugs 99.9% on bed, couches and dog beds. Use steam to DEEP clean counter tops, flooring, glass mirrors, shower doors, appliances, and stainless steel you name it! Simply use a microfiber cloth to wipe up all the grime. Happy cleaning!

I literally paused the video and ordered the lint comb, I need that in my life! I have been struggling with the dog hair in my that the vacuum can’t get. Also I am super concerned about my dryer now, I ordered the vacuum attachment the first time you showed it and have not used it yet, I can not believe how much has built up since the last time you used it. I guess I am cleaning the dryer today 😂

I purchased my Bissel steamer solely for the grout cleaning tool. I did not see the same shaped tool as the one you have. Mine shaped like a narrow toothbrush. OMGoodness, it works wonderfully! With two dogs in and out of the dog door onto the stone floors, this tool is a gift!

Oh wow $4 was a great deal. My steamer is a must have for me in my showers sliding tracks, sliding door tracks, window tracks and around the bottom of toilet to blast all the urine out from around it (😂momma stuck with all boys). My husband actually used it on a dirt bike, he was taking apart the motor & rebuilding/cleaning it. I don't use the hose unless I need that extra length because it doesn't blast as hard. I definitely need to clean the outside of my windows. Great video☺
I will be getting the dryer vent tool. I actually work for an insurance company and the main cause of house fires is the dryer vent. I recommend every two years to have your vents professionally cleaned. It costs a couple hundred dollars but it will clean where you can reach and will extend the efficiency and life of your dryer.

Use the Steamer in your Washer! Inside on the rim, cleans in a snap! The Steam kills germs too. I got mine for $5 at a yard sale! Brand new in the box, never used! The homeowner was Wife #2 who was selling everything Wife #1 left lol (I got about $150 worth of Cricut tools for $10 lol

I watched this video and loved how you showed the different cleaning tools. I have the steam cleaner and agree it's kind of a pain to pull out. The one thing about the steam cleaner is that it is so hot that it disinfects without chemicals. Yes, you have to wipe up the grime, but it's really clean grime.

Hello. I have the same steamer. I dont use it for everyday cleaning, but I love it for windows. It really gets in the tracks, it does a great job. For only 40.00 I think its worth it. You have to give it a try with your windows. We live on a farm so we get all kinds of dust blowing around. But your right on the everyday cleaning I would not use it. Another great video as always. I won’t ever, I hate paying a lot for products when cheaper products can do the trick. And we have always had a tight budget for 11 years of marriage until just recently with KZhead. So we know what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck and don’t want to push super expensive products.
I had the same feeling about that steamer. I’m not one to wait for things to get dirty so I found it inconvenient to do all the work required to just turn it on, and just when I was about to return it. I thought about where gunk usually tends to build up and went ahead and used it on the window sills, and door tracks and decided it was worth keeping, because no matter how many times you clean it, those areas can get pretty bad in just one week.
Great motivation for outside windows, will have to try it. And I will try the attachment for dryer vent👍🏾. P. S. I love using the pink all purpose jaws cleaner😍
