It seems more 'natural' to play with 5 cards than 4...every game that I've played as a child uses 5 cards.

A question to my Omaha community: You play Omaha deuces wild. That means u can use a deuce for any card in the deck. What happens if two opponents makes a flush each with a deuce as an ace. Is it split pot or does the kicker plays?

You seem to be over folding just a little bit in certain spots. Playing like it's 6 card, not 5 card =)

You are overvaluing the strength of your hand preflop. AKQJ8 ds is not a 4 bet on that spot by any means. (AKQJ8 ds has 40 per cent equity against AA). In Omaha5 you are almost exclusively 4 betting AA (the exception is if you 4 bet a very happy 3 bettor) When you have a very nice roundown you are not pushing equity against AA or even against AA and a decent hand and even if you 4 bet the chances the 3 bettor will fold are almost 0. Therefore with your connected broadways you want to play on 3 way pots where you have a lot of playability. AQJT8 3d is a bad 3bet as well against a co 22 vpip.
Why are you making such a big deal about is this “a good hand” like theres such a huge difference between 4 and 5 card plo. I mean if you’re 4betting AAAT suited A in 100bb in 4 card plo then you’re obviously doing this AAAKT in 5 card plo. Same concepts applies regarding rundowns/danglers etc. youre acting like it’s a such a different game when it’s the same just expect it be more swingy obviously
