It is never a bad day to remember the prime version of Gareth Bale with Tottenham. It was in the 2012/13 season under the orders of André Villas-Boas. He recorded 26 GOALS + 10 ASSISTS!! in 44 games, being recognized as the young MVP and absolute MVP of the Premier League. He broke it as a winger, but also showed his ability to shine as a midfielder. His performance was so enormous that, after that campaign, Florentino Pérez was convinced to hand him the napkin and turn him into a Real Madrid star. We royals will never forget this Bale course. I don't think there has been a better UK goal scorer in recent years when you look at the quality of goals by Bale in his prime. Just watching this you can appreciate his skill with both feet and headers. He is so natural on either foot.

I’m not surprised Bale picked up injuries. The amazing goals he scored were beyond what you’d expect of your average Premier League player. It was as if he was on another level - a level where the risk of injury was also higher unfortunately.
