Have you thought of trying the upheavel mod for RA3? It adds RA3 Uprising DLC units to RA3. ;)
RA3 is so visually noisy. There has to be a glowing (if not pulsating neon) light on everything. Couple that with certain over-sized visual effects, massive “slot” UI design, and ridiculously close zoom, and it's hard to even follow the game most of the time.
