Fresh Water Meets Sea Water - Boundary Explained

2019 ж. 1 Қаз.

This is the Fraser River Delta just in front of Vancouver BC Canada, this is where sea water meets fresh water.
The river water from Fraser River, flows into the ocean water of the Strait of Georgia.
Modern Science has discovered that in the places where two different bodies meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier creates a noticeable line, as each water body has its own temperature, salinity, and density.
If you go on google earth and look up Fraser River or Sea Island which is an airport right at the water edge, you will see this boundary line stretching for miles.
This is the religious event people relate this water barrier to.
QUR’AN 25.53 - And he it is who has let flow forth the two large bodies of water, one sweet and palatable, and the other salty and bitter; and He has set a barrier and an insurmountable, forbidding ban that keeps them apart.
Thanks for watching

Thats the whole point of it. If they were to truly "mix" and pass each other you wouldnt be drinking freshwater anymore, it would be salty, but it doesnt, theres a barrier. No need to get all sciencey too, like (oh but they have different properties and densities), which may be true but thats not what the quran says. You don't open the quran and learn science from it. It says what it says, simple as that. But you do you man, you wanna say it mixes even though you see a clear distinguishable difference between the two, go ahead lmao.

There are mistranslations out there, the arabic says the meet and do mix, but dont transgress or become 1 big mixed ocean. • @user-cp7ce4ew4e my friend, I am also muslim and from my understanding of the verse you have made a mistake in understanding the verse, the verse of the Quran is talking about when fresh sweet water and salt bitter water mix like a river and an ocean, not when two oceans or seas mix like the Atlantic and Pacific which are salt and salt however I could be wrong. And also, if it is fresh and salt water mixing, which our prophet SAW could have known of, no one knew that they actually mixed like the comment above you says and it looks like there is only a barrier, this is a phenomena called estuarin circulation I think.

The fact is that, this is still miracle because the Quran tells us about this phenomenon since long long time ago for us to think and research. Problem with most of us as a Muslim are we are often to think laterally and don't really do the thinking.... Many verses in the Quran "afala tata zakkarun" and "afala ta'qilun" but sadly we don't do it but only read & memorise these verses instead.

    @Australianmum@Australianmum Жыл бұрын
    • And the video claims as if these two different seas are mixing, ofc they aren't mixing, if they mixed, their colors would exchange, but look at that, even colors remained distinct. That's the Mercy of God to the fish and people, if they mixed, fish might have not survived, and it could cause lots of dead fish floating which eventually could cause them drying and maybe deseases spreading, or in the shores fish filling and flies might have filled the stinking fish, and much smell could spread, and fishermen wouldn't have survived, and the multitude of flies could have overpopulated the living places of people, and could have caused more troubles, and the water would be polluted and salty, undrinkable and how'd many people survive?

    • @Oh the lies Google not really, arabic is very famous for poetry, our day to day talk has a lot poetic metaphors and we make poems for fun 24/7 , and one of the reasons we memorize quran so fast is because the words are written like a poem is a beautiful and VERY unique way and that's why quran is considered as a miracle because no human mind can write something like quran, you may not notice it since you don't speak Arabic but most of the quran verses rhyme at the end and it's so beautiful to read as an Arabic speaker

    • @अल्ली X If you realize that much then what's not to be understood? You clearly don't know a single thing about logic if what I said wasn't immediately obvious. I'll give you a first grader science experiment. Mix a cup of red food coloring and salt in water with normal water, and a border isn't formed, they mix.

    • Before anyone jumps to conclusions regarding the Quran, please try to understand what it means by ''.....between them(salt and fresh water) is a barrier neither of them transgress''. The boundary between the two even if it is slanted and curved from the surface to the bottom is still a boundary. Now the IMPORTANT bit is you don't see areas of clear salt water in the fresh water side nor do you see areas of silty fresh water in the salt water side. The the transition is happening along the boundary line and NOT in isolated areas on either side of it. If you're to take samples of water from both sides just next to the boundary line you'll see both samples of water exhibit the properties of the water they're from, i.e. one salty and the other fresh; you'll not find either salt water or fresh water in both samples. This is UNLIKE diffusion of two different coloured water one flowing into the other. So the statement in the Qur'an holds true.
