    • Ytboi Western Yes, the sudden spike in vocal editing towards the end of the song was a very interesting creative choice, almost as if reminding us that despite the less-then-contemporary instrumentals and content of the music video, this song was nevertheless made in modern times. Listening to it was strange at first, but it grew on me on repeated listens. Fun. is truly a very interesting band, in a very good way.

  • When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In The Sky” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression.     • I listen to this a fair bit back in 2014 had a bad year that year I was 8 mum got addicted to drugs she’s clean now and I get along well with her. But yeah having your family shattered just having your grandmother and brother after copping months of physical abuse I’d make a sandwich wrong we were never taught I’d get king hit and booted in the guts day in day out. And whenever I’d go back to my grandmothers I’d listen to this song. I’m 17 now shaped me into the man I am today

  • 6 of us from my choir were chosen to sing this in a competition years ago. They chose us cause apparently we had ‘powerful’ voices to match the high energy of the song. And still to this day, it’s one of my favourite songs I’ve ever performed and gives me such nostalgia to happier times. Oh and we won the competition :)

    • If you miss Fun, then you'll love the Bleachers, which is the band of the co-writer of these songs, the one with the black round glasses. Songs have a similar feel, just not Nate Ruess's voice. My daughter turned me on to Bleachers, and I love their music.
