The Netflix hit "Baby Reindeer" is based on the real-life experience Scottish comedian Richard Gadd claims he had with a woman he called "Martha" on the show. Today, the woman who claimed to have inspired Martha's character, Fiona Harvey, came forward to talk to Piers Morgan and share her wildly different side of the story. Access Hollywood has reached out to Netlfix, Gadd and Morgan for comment and have not heard back.

i find it quite admirable that he played himself in the series. the show is based on true events that happened in his life and who is better to tell it than him? He put on an outstanding & emotional performance.
It's his story, and he's also an actor... why would he cast someone else? The series doesn't exactly portray him as a hero, it doesn't even portray her as a villain. It shows how there are both good and bad sides to both of them. She feels attacked over a series she didn't allegedly watch but knows that it's all wrong and wants people to leave her alone - so she goes on TV to confirm her identity and talk about it. Makes logical sense.
