    • @@rudro5784 I don't know for sure but I know that anything is possible. I would say from the side control dominant a head and arm choke might be easier

  • In my opinion, Kosoto Gari was developed to be used in Kenka Yotsu. I use this stance and allow me to use any other technique.

  • So Ko soto is an outside attack with the opposite leg and o soto is an outside attack with the same leg? O soto = right leg on right leg or left on left Ko Soto = right leg on left leg or left on right Is that right? Cheers in advance

  • I am not convinced that this will work against an active opponent who also knows Judo. Also, you have already made so many videos, have you not noticed that you should start further back in the room, so you don't leave the frame in the end while actually throwing? :D

    • He's a coral belt, I'd assume he knows what he's doing

      @EWOKakaDOOM@EWOKakaDOOM Жыл бұрын
    • @@EWOKakaDOOM he clearly knows. He mostly refered to the throw as "Ko soto" and didn't say Gari or Gake. And he also said at the start of the video "ko soto gari or gake, either of those" I was only clarifying for the viewers that wanted to know what technique was Higashi doing. I also want to add that being a coral belt does mean a lot as you gotta spend lots lf time on Judo to get to that point, but that would mostly mean just good techniques. It doesn't matter how much time you have on Judo, you can still get some names mixed and you can still confuse two techniques. It's also worth mention how many Judo techniques are so, SO similar that in some angles you literally can't tell them apart, and there are other techniques that kinda look the same so the ones that can really tell what happened are the tori and the uke.

    • Decide for yourself: "gake" means some kind of hooking, "gari" means sickling (the loaded foot), as in "O soto gari".
