4 year old competed at his first ever national! Manchester indoor bmx track

Shelby raced his first national event at 4 years old 😳 Manchester indoor BMX track is one of the best in the UK! Also one of the scariest!!🫣
He had his first day in reception and we rushed straight to Manchester for practice but unfortunately missed it! Shelby was still super excited to race and jumped up Saturday morning ready for it. In practice he watched one of his friends crash on the 1st jump and it really set him back for the day he wasn’t riding like his usual self and was pulling his break around the whole track! He missed out on the A final by 1 point on the Saturday which is super unlucky!
On the Sunday he was riding completely different than the day before and was so confident! He had some great races 1 where he was leading for most the race! Unfortunately he got unlucky again and crashed in his 3rd Moto which put him out for the day!
He was still the youngest rider of the day and we are so proud of him! Next year he’s going to be ready 💪🏻
