Story:
As we polished off our arrangement of Lewis Capaldi’s stirring song, “Someone You Loved,” we felt a strong need to find a way to express the emotion in our tune beyond the bow and the keyboard. We needed a poetic love story spoken without words, but with melodic motion. Before our last note hardly had time to rest we contacted Charity and Andres, dance world superstars who caught everyone’s attention when they captured the first perfect score on “World of Dance.” We had complete faith in these two artists, to tell the story that needed to be told. It turns out, Andres is likely going to be leaving for 2 years to serve a full time mission for his church. Charity is supporting him in this, but the two are experiencing intense bittersweet feelings regarding their impending partnership’s hiatus. This is the story they told in dance to our music-a story of sadness, of support, of joy, of unity, of strength, of longing, and of unconditional love. The mastery in their choreography is unmatched and has the power to stir up tender feelings for someone you loved.
Music produced and performed, by Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson and Al van der Beek of The Piano Guys

  • I've been through some tough times these last two years with losing my brother to suicide and almost my wife to breast cancer. Thankfully, my wife was able to beat the cancer, but there are three times that I've cried in the last 2 years- you can guess those other two, but the third was during the silence at the end of this video. There's a power to silence, a time of reflection when you can feel, really feel. This powerful video wasn't just about music, or the dancing, but the gift and emotional respect of love. Love is so powerful, more powerful then hate or sorrow. The kind of love that never fails, and is unconditionally selfless. I felt that just now... Thanks for making me feel like an emotional infant.

  • I hear this music everytime I feel pain... Two hours ago we got the call. My husband is corona positiv. I know there are a lot of people with worse problems, but he is the center of my life. He is everthiny for me. Two years ago I lost my whole family and he helped me through this time. When I couldn't sleep because of feeling pain of losing my fam, he was with me. We talked the whole night even when he should work the next day. All his actions show me that he is the one. The love of my life. All the - driving to my workplace to drive me home, so I shouldn't need to take the bus- , - having a bottle of water with him, because he knew, I didn't drink enough- , - waking me up with warm bread for breakfast or standing by me If I saw a video about a father daughter weeding dance. And now he is sick...
