  • Great first build. Everyone learns more after the first. For modular power supply insert. Put cables in before the unit itself. Makes it easier. Fan configuration seemed odd on the AIO as it was blowing hot air from the radiator directly into the case. This can be easily solved if you had 3 other fans on the opposite side of the radiator. Don't forget to peel off the motherboards plastic that is sat on the dragon. Overall it was a great job. Looking forward to watching more zombies from you!

    • Great comment Dr-Insane, one thing to add might be to remove the m.2 ssd stickers as i looked like the m.2 panel on the motherboard had thermal pads and the sticker would prevent them to function as planned. Otherwise, great work Dalek!

  • You can usually use the motherboard guide book to help where you need to place what each cable got on to. I sort of needed help from a friend, because he's build computers all the time, the only part I messed up on was the cable from power to motherboard and yes it was my first building it too. But after I got that situation done it was all set to go.

  • So I own the same case and built in it over a month ago, couple tips you will need a splitter to connect more ARGB headers to the hub on the back (make sure they are 3 pin tho). that will allow those ARGB parts to all sync up with the cases LED settings, next up you should make sure you flipped the fans ontop to exhaust as they are set as intake from the beginning for air cooling but since you are using an AIO flip those fans. If you need more fan headers btw I recommend getting a fan hub rather than using splitters and using something like Argus Monitor. Oh and btw you can remove one of the harddrive cages and in the box is a replacement piece if you choose to so that way you have more space for cable management on the bottom next to the psu. Also for cable management just buy a couple extra cable straps it makes it a lot easier to constantly adjust things if you are gonna upgrade and theres actually slots on the back they can fit in if you get slim ones. Good job tho

    • My system I used to have them as outtake but since the system is in a cabinet under my desk it only caused heat to build up over the system. Flipping them dropped the temps drastically. Never close the door on the cabinet though. I actually use the door to hold my mic up with a boom arm clipped to it. That back is open though so it's not a total heat trap.

I have a 2080 super and I play on low settings and I get 4k at 60 fps but it still stutters or lags, or something. I think it is the graphics card that causes this so I'm thinking of buying a 3080 but I need to know I will get proper smooth games at 4k 60 fps without lag stutter or frame drops below 60fps. • You messed up big time with the processor imo. Shoulda gone with either a much cheaper cpu then getting a ryzen 5000 cpu when they become readily available. Alternatively you could have gotten a different mother board and a 10900k. I have a 3080 and 10900k and can get 144-170 fps max settings with ray tracing 1440p. My pc also only cost me about 2.5k. So My PC was half as cheap and seems to get an extra 40 frames more or less in warzone. But since you got a ryzen 3000 cpu, try and get a 5000 when its easier to get

  • Or a ryzen 3900XT, just when the 5900x came out only 4 days ago and is in some cases up to 40% faster and on average is 20% faster. That hurts. Also note that if you want that full 20GB/s of SSD read and writes you need to have the system using raid in the bios. If not each one will be it's own partition and work on it's own. Not bad but not nearly as fast. Note also that raid is a bit more risky as one drive dying means all become useless and need to be wiped as each only holds a portion of the total data. Note that the 64GB/s is just the maximum PCIE 4.0 can handle so don't worry about it too much. Until faster drives come out you wont be hitting those speeds. As of right now the fastest SSD I believe is the sabrent rocket 4 Plus with a read speed of 7000MB/s and a write speed of 6850MB/s so at most right now you can get 28GB/s. That will change over the next year but for right now that's the fastest this system can be.
