    • No one can, it's a very carefully scripted movie performed by actors who are extremely charming, no chick will expect you to hit on her like this and if she does, she watches too many movies and will be disappointed. • Keep in mind that this movie was made in 2005, when people used to flirt in person all the time. This was before smart phones, social media, and dating apps existed. It was much easier to effectively run cold approach game back then, because: 1) Those electronic distractions didn't exist back then; 2) You had her full and undivided attention; 3) Girls used to be much more friendly and receptive to strangers flirting with them. Now, you'll seldom see two strangers flirt in person anymore, especially at this high of a level. Most girls in the West today really don't want strangers hitting on them at all. It's a different world now.

    @leoray1234@leoray12342 жыл бұрын
    • Oh yeah, it did. And then he stalked her and spent at least 5000 dollars to arrange sofisticated dates. Its not "working". Its throwing money at a woman and that WORKS on every beutiful woman. So no, theres no magic pickup line. And you know how I know all that? Cos i did the same with my ex who I made pregnant and we part ways. Because beautiful women require such dates ALL THE TIME. Thats called being and emotional junky. So i did my biological task, took her best 5 years of life from 25 to 30 and was forced to leave. Now she is a single mom, like a lot of such beautiful women are who like such "unique emotions" ;D

    • @@bilboriches7216 Nooo, never ‘throw money’ at a girl to impress her. That may work on some, but that will also become the basis of the relationship. No thanks, I’m not interested in that kind of girl, and find that approach boring. I’ve dated many gorgeous women because I focused on creating memorable experiences, most which doesnt necessarily involve using a lot money to impress; it’s more understanding how to create a mood, and a moment. One girl said to me once, ‘I feel like whenever you take me somewhere, I’m in a beautiful film’. That’s another factor, the element of pleasant surprises. But to get that women to even go out, you can’t just chase her. Its a conversation that takes time, and you can never be desperate. I also learned how to dance. I highly highly recommend learning how to dance.

  • Interesting to see how Hitch is totally in his element. The way he was sitting alone at first, he is friend with the bartender, how he navigated the place without hesitation, gave the other guy's glass to the waitress who is probably also used to see him around. And finally how relaxed he seemed when he sat down next to her. Hitch first adopted the place at the point where he can come here alone and chill. This makes it easier to approach women or make new friends because new people will feel naturally more attracted to the guy who looks like he own the place and know everyone. In the case he gets rejected, he'd just go back to chilling with other people without looking back at the woman which will increase his level of confidence even more in her eyes.

    • @@G-uu9yf It depend on the reputation and the vibe the guy gives. Here Hitch doesn't give up the vibe of the a**hole pump and dump guy or a desperate regular but just the chill, social dude who is comfortable in his environment and who is having a good time. Plus this is probably not the only place he spent his social nights in, if you keep approaching women and bringing dates at the same place over and over, it becomes pretty clear to everyone around what you're up to. And someone who look like he lives at the bar is pretty icky. If the waitress was finding your date annoying then the guy was obviously doing it all wrong. I'd guess he was showing off and being a little extra instead of genuinely be comfortable and nice to be around.

Does Casey take the high road and run away? No. Does she get upset afterward that she didn't break up the relationship? Yes of course. • I don't see how he messed up. I don't find making jokes about illness you can't control, or debilitating birth defects funny. I find it a poor taste and underhanded purposefully embarrassing people in that way, knowing you would case them to feel bad for something they can't control. That being said, I think he did the right thing by stopping that circus which is by itself below any tasteful levels for Oscars and defended his wife's honor (regardless of their personal relationship). If he did it to some regular nobody at a bar, no one would blink an eye, but because this was Oscars then somehow it's a mistake. But again, somehow, what Chris Rock did wasn't poor taste and low.

You hype a product, a service or yourself, explain how it is rare and only for the worthy but you dont make the prospect any offer, letting them deal with the fear of not being worthy. If you do it right, they come to you to close the deal and then, you up sell them ! It's a classic !

  • What I guess with a character like hers is if she never met Hitch she'd be single her whole life. There's people that are single by choice but she was someone cynical about the dating scene with a grain of hope to be wrong. Fast forward from when this movie came out to now in the 2020s and many people have so much expectation for failure just like her. Even when he said they wouldn't work out she was happy to be right. She was happy he afiirmed that. She was so happy to be validated of her own self-sabatoging point of view she got intrigued. Had the script made them not work out she'd definitely be over men after the best man she met let her down. It's sad how quickly the process of finding a partner errodes people's vulnerability.
