My friend found an abandoned dog, her matted fur telling a story of neglect. As a dog groomer, I stepped in to help, documenting her journey in a live video. Despite her poor condition, the dog displayed remarkable behaviour during grooming. We discovered she was infested with hundreds of ticks but, thankfully, had no severe diseases. Removing ticks from her matted fur was a painstaking task. Bathing her properly was crucial for her compromised skin. Throughout the process, I highlighted the importance of careful grooming to prevent future infestations. Despite the challenges, the dog's strength and progress were evident. In the end, witnessing her transformation satisfied us, reaffirming our commitment to neglected dogs in need. The only horrible thing in her story is that she is going back to her owner, who made her condition that bad.

This is the first video of yours that made me cry. Poor old lady. Why does the owner want her back? They don’t care even a little bit about this dog. Sickening.

Not sure how it works in your country, but in the United States that poor dog would NOT be required to return to owner. The condition of that dog constituted neglect and the dog would have been taken from them, so sad she was returned!!
Nothing more cruel than giving this little dog back to the owner. Time your country caught up with the rest of the world and put some laws in place.

Thanks! We didn't see her again, but we hope that she is better, at least she doesn't have that matted fur on her body. This is the only thing that we could done, but yeah, the owner was the last person who needed a free haircut for his dog.

I wish you were in my area my Bicheon is a senior and been taken care of all his life now that he is a senior I’m having trouble to get these groomers even cut his nails! Maybe she was the oldest dog, useless now after being bred time and again, with mammary cancer. This is horrible. I hope you could do something for her, that gave her a chance to be loved like every dog should be loved. Thank you for grooming her and making her feel better.
The live videos give people an idea just how long the processes are and what challenges and surprises you face. But me, I prefer the edited videos. She is such a lovely dog, poor thing, being eaten alive by all those ticks. Thank you for taking care of her. I am very sad that she had to go back to an owner who neglected her.

Maybe there’s more you could do for her? Stop by and visit her again? Bring her some treats? Ask them again if they would sell you the dog? I’m sure they would sell you the dog. To answer the question about live streaming : personally I don’t care for live streaming and I am more interested in a normal video. The camera work is better and it’s easier to follow. With live streaming it’s a little difficult to follow. But I would like to reiterate, how much I enjoy your videos and how very well done they are and such a pleasure to watch.
