    • It probably means something like 'Magomed, son of Magomed'... some cultures have different naming conventions. Obviously, he's from a culture that doesn't hand out participation trophies, so he actually trains to be the best.

    • But in the rematch, Peter Yan took his own. And so Magomedov is undoubtedly a top UFC fighter. Therefore, now Bellator is not inferior to the UFC in terms of fighters.

    • From what I saw, two factors: 1) it was within the 10 second bell so many fighters can indeed survive it, and 2) Hamilton was defending himself deliberately by moving that hand to block the shots, so the ref could give him the chance at round 2. I've seen people take blistering ground and pound, get their face split open, then fight back to win. The ref had to give him a chance unless it was clear the fight needed to be stopped. Had that bell not sounded, I think the ref probably would have within another 5-10 seconds. I very much hear what you're saying. Just saying it was a judgement call on the ref's part and I don't totally disagree with it.
