The Saudi Pro league as a very limited viewership and fan to watch it, population 33 million, football is not watched by 90% of those in the country. Neighbor countries like Egypt fans watch European leagues they do not bother going to games in Saudi. That league will collapse in 3 seasons, even if they put in 100 Billion. Mo Salah knows its a dead end and can play and earn in Europe and not damage his reputation
It’s the region not just Saudi Arabia even the region of Northern Africa will watch. That’s their guy, they’ll still watch other leagues but he will certainly draw people to that team. If Lebron said I’m going to play in the euro league next year that league will gain a lot more American audience 100% because he’s our best player regardless of age or popularity of the league or the sport in that region.
Its dirt
@@kkagoro2520As an Egyptian I'm telling you, no one gives a sh*t about Saudi League. Algerians don't watch it even when Mahrez is there. Egyptians and North Africans cares about their local leagues, African big tournaments (Clubs and national teams) then European leagues. Also, to watch the Saudi league you must subscribe to their channels and it's cost is not that cheap while they are already subscribed to "Bein Sports" that broadcasts almost all competitions like CAF champions league, EPL and FIFA tournaments. No one will put exta burden financially on themselves to watch Salah, and Salah knows that 100%
@@itsmidorabieIf thats the case, that’s actually one of the saddest things to hear. The biggest athlete that has represented his people at the highest level very well can’t draw a bigger following to his people’s league.
@@kkagoro2520 The Saudi league is dead, its like the MLS., nobody watches it and the USA as 10 x population and fails
Excellent. Mo looked fast against W Ham. Slot is huge on quick play and this will benefit Mo and the others. Jurgen has let the team get too slow over the past 2 seasons, the midfield especially. A quality DM brought in and we will be set.
Dan , a player can appear for 5 mins in a game, you can not count that as a game like you have with Mo Salah. Mo Salah as played 2860 minutes, that is 31 games he as , scored 24 and as 13 assists. .Look at Gapko, played 2770 minutes which is 30 games, he as 14 goals and 5 assists. Nunez as played 2880 minutes, which is 32 games, he as 18 goals and 14 assists,. Best use the stats correctly Dan
Now take the penaltys away what we left with ? Yes you have to score the penaltys but lets be real so could someone else, and how many games has he scored 2 goals in ? Its also he does not do much in 80 minutes in majority of games.
@@notnatty781tbh with you it's never like that because in that case I'd tell you.. Now add all the missed stonewall guaranteed goals that Nunez, Diaz and Gakpo missed which he provided for them 😅
@@notnatty781 still highest assists And it could be double if the other striker could finish those sitters
@@itsmidorabie yes his numbers would be insane i agree. I want salah to stay dont get me wrong but he is not someone who is untouchable. His performances have been poor all season long apart from a few games. His number are good so what ? Fact of the matter is WHEN we need salah magic its not been there THIS season. Salah misses alot more easy chances than you think.
@@notnatty781 I totally gets you and as an Egyptian I'm telling you he was in wrong but still we should put the human factor despite we talk about professionals. Emotions and frustrations would lead everyone to do the same. IF it was all about not playing, so the league is gone.. let him play for 60mins to try to break his jinx, like he always did. He will never be in form again by sitting down. The point I'm making here is that Klopp is the man of course nad he knows his job the best but making a scene for not getting a hug while your player is getting into the his mental zone then intimidate him is not mature too. At the end we still have 0 facts said and all info that we are talking about are just running out of everyone because everyone's emotions are high.
The concern would be, how he would react if he is not in the playing eleven. The Manager\Coach is within his right to decide who starts and if the player is out of form he cannot expect to still be in the starting line up. It's nobody's birthright.
The comments and opinions of these pundits are far removed from reality. They are contradicting themselves all over the place, failing to acknowledge the facts. While Salah has consistently performed well for the past five years, he is now being singled out for criticism despite being a key player for Liverpool. Salah has been a top performer for Liverpool, scoring and assisting more than any other winger let alone any liverpool player for the last five years. Without him, Liverpool would have struggled to achieve even half the success they have. It's unrealistic to expect LFC will rven 20-goal replacement. Will the money be spent on improving the squad depth? Fine, but then where will the goals come from?? The stats don't lie. It's important to look beyond the last few games when assessing a player's performance. Salah is a world-class player, and it's absurd to consider getting rid of him because of a few missed shots over the bar. The pundits and commentators don't seem to understand the complete package, but the truth is that Salah will still be a valuable asset to Liverpool. Hungry to break more records!
No surprise. Salah has consistently shown in previous contract negotiations that and he and his agent are sharp and canny and will do everything to look after their interests, and whatever Liverpool want is neither here nor there. They will look after Salah’s best interests. So Liverpool will now be saddled with him until his contract expires - same as Matip, Thiago, Ox, Keita, Bobby, Milner, Can and many more. Liverpool are really shit at this and keep leaving themselves wide open to player’s running their contracts down. Now all we need to do is lose TAA and VVD for nothing - total disaster zone !
Absolutely - and add 80 -90m Alisson to that too. Huge summer for LFC coming up.
Edward’s will not allow this to happen, don’t be surprised to see players extending their contracts only to move on to pastures new. I suspect Mo will go in the summer, he has lost a yard of pace and his confidence is low and his ego is running away with the hype, no player is bigger than the club. He has shown little since coming back from AFCON. Maybe he is injured
Yout making alot of asumptions
It’s amazing how people like you can go from exstatic to slitting your wrists in the space of a month. Honestly, I’m fine with the criticism, but you’re literally being hysterical and factually incorrect. Dial it down, I wouldn’t want to play for a fan like you either. There is some level of bipolar going on amongst our fan base. It’s fine to be nervous, it’s fine to be annoyed, but stop flip-flopping from we’re going to win the quad to absolutely fucking hysterical. Just makes you look like a 14-year-old.
This will be a new Liverpool, he has been unbelievable for us but common sense says cash in and build.
Just remember all the people slagging Salah, Salah loves Liverpool, that frustration we saw was hunger to get on the pitch to make a difference, how many big time players have we seen do the same, it's not disrespect but frustration on salahs part of not being on the pitch.
and then he did nothing, AGAIN. Tell you what, seeing as he USED to be good, and apparently that's good enough now to get you 300 big ones for wandering around the pitch half arsed, how about we give a contract to Rushie? I'm sure he could do the same? 🤔
He didnt deserve to be on the pitch by his past couple performances. Pep would nvr start him at his current level
Thanks for the content
Gakpo and Diaz would be the 2 out the door for me. Diaz is 27 and his output isn’t good enough. Gakpo has “played well” recently according to some but he literally has 1 G/A in that time. Poor output overall and just a very weak player considering his size
Nope good squad players at least. Curtis Jones offers a lot less

@@aryak007 Look @ the evidence over the past 2 months .
@@JohnMurphy-mx7pd do you want klopp to come on to the pitch and finish the chances for the players ? Even the games we dropped points in we had the better chances to win. Forwards let us down big time, no blame but we come up short its on us onto next season with a new manager.
Salah… past great, present disappointing, future downhill… so sell now! Age, declining performance levels, salary, transfer fee… it’s a simple equation that just does not have a solution in which Salah stays.
Great news 👍
The Slot appointment is in no way out of no where for LFC. In 2020, Red Bird Capital became owners in AZ Alkmaar, where Slot was the manager. He was level with Ajax on points, but was behind on GD. The league was abandoned and Ajax was appointed league champions. That summer Red Bird became owners and working with Slot. Even though they sacked him because he had agreed to Feyenoord, I am sure they kept tabs on him all this time.
We're not saying sell Salah because we think he's finished, we think 32 in summer if someone willing to put 100m plus for him then we take it and refresh the squad. Unless Salah says he'll sign new deal give another year then go , club needs money in for him he can't be going on a free
To protect his value LFC will never disclose a willingness to sell Salah. We should sell in Summer and reinvest money like we did when Coutinho went
Otherwise if he prefers to stay but not being a team player and not improving his form he can stay but on the bench !
I don’t mind if he stays, hopefully it was just an outburst of frustration with the way the last couple of weeks have gone and what was happening in the game. You want passionate plays, sometimes it goes over the line. Considering his almost impeccable record with this kind of stuff since he’s been at Liverpool, I definitely don’t think we should be wanting him out the door. Just as long as he is okay with the fact that, if the next manager thinks he is slowing down then he might be appearing a bit more from the bench. Sometimes things boil over. It’s not necessarily a sign of something deeper. These people are winners, and it pisses them off to not be winners. Which is the exact kind of personality we want. He just crossed the line. I don’t think it warrants throwing him to the wolves over it. I would personally prefer to get every last drop out of Moe and VVD or Robertson before selling them on. Their professionalism and mentality and their history of winning is too important to let Walk out the door for a couple million bucks.
The timing of Salah news of staying right after clash with Jurgen and saying if I speak there will be fire that tells me one thing: greedy American owners with Klopp were disrespecting Salah so that they squeeze him out and can cash on him, when he threatened to talk they announced his staying to buy his silence. That is not a far fetch at all, I live in the States and I know that ganging up is the norm to make money here
Not a chance salah deserves a pay raise, same at maximum, and realistically down the way he's petered out at the most important times of the seasons
G R E A T!!!
I’m amazed by all this and hardly know where to start. Firstly I guess we should note that the club can’t stop salah leaving on a free next summer if that’s his plan. Salah I’m guessing would back himself to perform at the top level for a few more years yet and if he is willing to do that at Liverpool then personally I’d be over the moon. Sure his performances have been way below his normal standard but writing him off when he’s coming back from injury is a joke. Our forward line needs more than one reliable goal scorer so if one dips others pick up the slack as we’ve had in the past. The issue the club have to solve is jota is always injured and neither Diaz, gakpo or Nunez look like they will ever be prolific. Sell salah only for stupid money and only then if he wants to go.
Nuez was brought to replace Sadio Mane Nunez as 2880 minutes on pitch, that equates to 32 games, and he as scored 18 goals with 13 assists. In Sadio Manes last season at LFC, he completed 2825 minutes, which equates to 31 games, he scored 16 goals and had 3 assists, that is lower than Nunez and that was Mane second best season in 6 seasons, only once did Mane get to 20 goals. Bobby Firminio best season is 3477 minutes on pitch which is 38 games, he scored 16 goals with 8 assists, so you can see Mane and Firmino were not at the level Nunez . Sadio Mane best season 2018/2019, his 3rd year, he played 4309 minutes, which equates to 48 matches,he scored 26 goals, with 4 assists, so the reality is, Mane in his very best season played 16 more games than Nunez as this season so far, and Mane scored 8 more, but from 16 more games and only provided 4 assists. Nunez goals per minutes is better than Mane, or Firmnio and his assists are double those of Mane and Firmino. Nunez creates his own chances in 50% of all his chances, that is something that Mo, Sadio, Bobby could never do. Yes Darwin can improve, but he is already equaling what Mane and Firmnio did and Mane had 6 seasons and only scored over 17 goals once in season 2018/2019
No Salah won't be leaving ,he often gets pissed off when he/the team is not succeeding
He should leave. He doesn't get the respect from fans neither the flop
How can anyone say he’s not been good this season? *HES LITERALLY OUT TOP GOAL SCORER AND 2nd BEST ASSISTER*
and this past month he has let us down BADLY, just when we needed him most, yes, amongst others I know, but as the senior player, he had to step up, and failed MISERABLY get rid!
Unless he signs a new contract we’ve got to sell him surely?

Good.
Rather he went now than hold the club to ransom and go for nothing next year. £80-£100m, bite their hand off
Slot should just tell Salah that he won’t feature in his future plans… Salah will be gone in weeks.
It's a real mistake not to cash in. The Saudis are desperate for him and have endless supplies of cash. It's a no brainer.
Well if he wants to stay you cannot sell him. Pretty simple.
@@tf328you do know thats this season only. Next season he leaves for free
You are forgetting one key thing, does he actually want to go. It’s not like you can forcibly sell a player to a club he doesn’t actually want to go to.
If Liverpool sign 2 RW and a fit striker and he stays thats ok , no more first team guarantees for him , that has cost Klopp his lack of more trophies , we only won the UCL and EPL because we had Shaqiri and Origi people always forget that
100% Thanks for all the great times Mo...but now it's time to go!
Thats really too bad. I appreciate everything mo has done for the club, but he clearly doesn't care anymore and can't keep his ego in check. I'd rather he fuck off to Saudi to be honest. We can use the 75m for a player whose heart is actually in it.
He is a great player. Never the less, cut your costs-- just sell him 😂😂
Edwards gonna get Salah to extend on 50k a year
Salah not going to stop LFC putting this out so they can get more money for him
Who brought Salah to LFC, that was not Klopp. Who brought him may still believe in him. Post Klopp may bring a better Salah at his age.

I know he’s hard shoes to fill, but was hoping he’d be sold . Even though he’s scored a few , he’s really dropped off this season and alarmingly. Sad to see our season end in such a disappointing manner, but how many of us would have expected Liverpool to be in the top three and fighting on four fronts !

Listen it's LFC not mo FC. He's not taking us forward however staying Wil hold us back. Thanks mo laterzzz Mo
Non news. The default position whether the plan is for a player to go or stay, is to say he’s staying
Think people are overreacting..only real player id consider selling is Nunez. Salah was the best player in the league before afcon (again) and barely played after it, in a poor performing side
If we want to get any money for Salah we need to sell him in the Summer
How do you sell a player who as a contract and says no I am staying, he can negotiate a new club contract with any club in Europe in 7 months time... Mo holds all the cars, all Edwards holds is a water pistol
@@ToniPhillips-tc9cl Salah is a player that holds grudge and will tray to run down his contract. If he insist to run down his contract I'll keep him on the bench all season ! Any star of a team would be spitting the dummy not getting game time, that's normal. His form relates to having Bradley and a poor midfield to work with.

@@itsmidorabie well actually no, it's a fact. But my point was no one player wins a PL title. Without KDB city would have found another 100m player. LFC would have won the PL with Fowler/Shearer/Cole/Henry as many times as with Mo, (but not with Gerrard, Suarez, Sturridge, Sterling....)
Red men tv in shambles now, that whole squad of professional accountants have been selling Salah on their channels for 2-3 years now
We're not getting a manager we're getting a head coach
We're getting a yes man
Salah, please no. He’s been on the slide for 2 seasons and no longer worth his salary. I want him gone.
Liverpool should be prepared to sell Salah under £50 M any day dreams of Saudi Professional League money or PSG should be dashed out, otherwise keep unhappy player running out his contract to walk free.
Thanks Mo, but ya gotta go $$$
Id like to see him converted into a central striker to maybe prolong his career , While still being quick he's obviously lost a yard of pace and his lack of work rate defensively along with TAA is clearly a massive problem for us down our right, Let Nunez Run up and down that right flank and create chaos, Salah has the attributes to play central, he's strong and we've seen how creative he can be assisting and finding pockets of space so im sure he could do from a more central area dropping in space and feeding the pace of Nunez and Diaz either side of him and he'd still be aloud to arrive late in the area to get his goals.
His shooting accuracy has been going down greatly. Ide rather have dans in middle then salah
Mo agree who cares, sell. Rebuild with money and his wages can pay 3new player's
Where can I get under the Libyan sun please
His getting old ..😔🙏sorry Salah your time is done..this team need fresh young and full skill to compete at the top, especially against Man City and the Gunners🙏👊👊luv u Mo for what u have done to this club#Thanks very much#sir Klopp#congrat to city or arsenal for EPL this season
Salah needs to be sold. Let’s not prolong his stay to the point where he starts to hinder the team.
Sell. Sell. Sell. Salah is selfish, he’ll probably try to run down his contract…..
We were playing better without him. Time to go.
What a player, what a club legend. I hope he can get back to a good form one last time next season. If old man Mo could get another ten goals that would be great.
Food for thought - Potentially move Salah to our main centre-forward, similar to Mane in the last half of the quadruple season… He’s got all the tools to thrive up top - strong as hell on the ball, decent pace, vision, can play in the tight areas, can finish & great movement … as he gets older he could change his game and a position change with another right winger on the outside could be just what he needs? Would be a gamble i would be happy enough to see
So hold on to players for too long till they are worthless just like klopp did with many others? 100 mil + for a over 30 year old on the decline is just good buisness. Especially considering thats over double what they paid for him. People thought selling coutinho was the end of the world also
I don't want him to stay inless he moves into the centre like Mané did. He hasn't got it anymore and our attack is so stale and predictable with him on the right
Putting him in the centre is a mistake. He needs to be more comfortable using both feet and he is still heavily left footed imo
