  • I feel bad for the artist that feels like that’s all he is good for. Yeah, maybe that may be his most popular work, but there shouldn’t be shame. He made a lot of people happy with that character and it was creative and funny, even though it got overplayed. It’s still a funny and entertaining piece of work that brings joy and nostalgia to people including myself. I hope Erik feels more proud of his work even if not everything he makes in the future blows up like this. It’s not like Erik hit his peak. He can still be successful in his own ways no matter how “successful” people see his other works.

  • this was actually really cool. i like hearing about the history of 'x' and how it becomes so popular. i think this deserves a 'making-of' and how they made their animations/songs. i love watching how animators animate models, and how they just make animated videos in general (sound effects, etc). this is such a treat.
