That black lab deserves a raise
No doubt!

As a bird hunter, I genuinely appreciate when Rinella posts waterfowl episodes.
I completely agree
No one cares what you think
JP bourgeois arguably rivals Steve for entertaining tv… I love duck camp dinners so much
Same. I wish they would do more fishing as well though
You and me both pal.
Meat eater episodes are truly unmatched. There isn’t any other series that captures the entire hunting experience better.
Yes. We've needed it too. Most other hunting videos were not authentic, or not relatable.
Most definitely
i'd say a close 2nd would be mullet man
There are other hunting series?
That’s one hardworking little lady. I hope she gets spoiled at home after all that hard work! Good work Pup!
Such a good dog.
Isn't she great! Wonderful lady.
Looks like she gets lots of gizzard. God bless a good hunting dog
and you can also tell she likes it she feels part of the team which is very important for a dog
Bums me out when I see dogs that get babied into uselessness. Dogs love a good day’s work, that good girl isn’t just a dog that’s a hunting partner and good worker.
Who else can’t wait for hunting season to begin?? 💥💥💥
I don’t want to wait
When does the season start in U.S or CAN? In Finland it starts at 20th of August.
Can’t wait but at the same time don’t feel like I’m ready yet.
September Goose opens in 15 days in Oregon! Good luck everyone!
Shit id just like to be able to shop on the meat eater store lol.
Absolutely love all the waterfowl episodes. Duck Camp Dinners, Ducklore, Timber Tour. They're far and wide my favorite in the Meat Eater collection. Chef JP is a fantastic addition to the team. Thanks for cranking out great duck hunting content!
We need more!!
That hard working dog is a joy to watch.
Steve pulling that quick snipe on the goose was satisfying.
as primarily a waterfowler glad you post these. Also That pup busted his ass in that mud for you guys
Louisiana is a special place. I've been all over the southern part of the state and the people are as good or better there as anywhere I've ever been.
Duck hunting, Cajun food and good friends. My Holy Trinity. Great episode
For all its cons and vices, THIS is what true Louisiana (particularly southern Louisiana) is all about! I'll admit to cringing whenever you used the word "crayfish" and when you tried to pronounce "pirogues", but i loved your genuine enjoyment and appreciation for our beautiful, unique culture. Well done, Steve. That is my Louisiana that i know and love so dearly. Only thing missing was a Saturday night in Tiger Stadium aka "Death Valley". GEAUX TIGERS!!!
I’ve never been duck hunting. But this year it is on the calendar. I can’t wait.
It gets exciting. Well, it can get exciting for Illinois.
The small boats are pronounced "pee-row" down here. -Louisiana native
was just fixin ta say that 😄😄
Same
It’s not pee rouge? 😂
How do you spell the name of the duck stew fellas? (Northerner here) I tried French spelling patterns I know for what I heard, and I can’t get anything.
@@3PeninsulasOutdoors are talking about the roux?
I’m talking french and english, french being my first language the accent of Steve when he talks french makes me smile
Watching from the Philippines! My friends and I absolutely loves this show. We missed you sir Steve!
JPB at his finest, southern style; whackin; educating ; stewing and stirring… Love the knowledge shared with these episodes of regional wonders!!! Nice job team Meateater..
Proud to say Ronnie is my family and friend. He’s truly great people
So how do you spell "rouxtee"? Trying to find a written recipe online. Also how do I find all those french pronunciations of the duck species?
It’s 88 degrees outside right now at 11 pm. Seeing people in jackets has me pretty jealous
I would love to have that weather every day. I can't wait to live somewhere where I never have to experience winter again.
Didn't grow up with my dad but the Cajun runs in his and my blood. Just started duck hunting at the beginning of the month and have made it out 13 times already. Water foul is in my blood and I wish I could do it everyday of my life
Not sure if that was done on purpose or not, but, that duck Steve was picking, talking about feathered head or wing for transport, he called a Drake Gadwall. It was not. A beautiful Drake Widgeon it was! That was around 12:15.
I hunt some ducks down here in Texas on my little property and when I first started I used to breast my ducks but I atleast got the legs too. Now I do the whole thing like these guys are doing but it is a little more work for sure. It is such a unique experience to see these ducks in the wild and im sure a whole other level there in Louisiana. Awesome stuff 👌
you know it's tough walking when even the dog is struggling in the mud!!
I worked in Plaquemines Parish for 2 years and would eat lunch in Venice. Some of the best food I've had.
This gives me shivers down my spine! Can’t wait for early Teal season to start in a week!
Lol, end of the river. As a Minnesotan I love that, you should see how mighty the Mississippi is at its start
That mud struggle is real, I've never seen a dog struggle like that on a retrieve.
“That duck took some LEAD” -Game and Fish has entered the chat.
Those Cajun boys are awesome!
I love this show more than any other show in the world.
The best episode yet, Steve and Jean Paul are the dream team! Keep 'em coming! 🇬🇧
Welcome to Louisiana Steve. We enjoyed your visit.
Listening to my boy Steve absolutely BUTCHER the word pirogue (correctly pronounced Pee-Row) makes my South Louisiana heart hurt haha but I love the attention meateater has brought to S LA duck hunting
Where he is in this video doing the cooking, we pronounce it pee-rog.
I'm loving this new series. Great people, great hunting, great food!
I know I didn't just watch Steve mistake a WIGEON for a GADWALL
Haha, I also commented on that and yes he did.
Steve seems more like a big game hunter
Need more JP content, keep the duck hunts coming!
MeatEater did a whole series called Duck Camp Dinners. They’re on KZhead and feature JP and his Louisiana buddies
Duck hunting and turkey hunting are my favorite uploads
Quite a treat to have SR and JPB in the same video 😉👍
Best show ever. For real. Love you Steve
This was a great, easy-going, mouthwatering episode!.... Good Job. I'm loving this new series. Great people, great hunting, great food!.
Good show.... please keep on producing hunt harvest eat episodes.... Love it. From a Sunny South Africa.
There's nothing like watching a great dog work ducks! Great Video!
“And these are my people.” I get it.
7:28 excuse me? 😂
Good catch
The only duck hunting channel that I have and Will ever watch, thank you Steve
Tried the Rueteed Ducks this evening, with a greenwing i shot this morning. It is hands down the best meal I ever made with wild ducks!
thanks to hear steve again . nice to see you again .
LOVE the duck episodes. Man, what an adventure that would be. Congrats!
I love watching the meat eater Videos because this year I may not go hunting because of my health and other stuff happening in my life
I've been to Lousianna and Gulf Port mississipee and Southern Florida several times while working in water treatment. Some of the Best Food I have ever eaten in my life hands down! I really miss those times, but at the time I hated it because of the heat, but looking back those were some of the best times of my life.
Man, these videos make me miss fishing and hunting trips.
These shows, shows you that hunters aren't mindless idiots, and they appreciate the animals they shoot
I love the show, I am a big fan! Each episode is just fantastic!
Cooking looks great.
you're the best man.
Steve I know it took you awhile to get down here. But trust me we love watching you kill elk out west, or ducks in Louisiana. Thank you for spending time in Louisiana.
Hopefully there’s another season of “Das Boat” I really liked it
50th state to hunt in! Dude where you been? This is called sportsman’s paradise!
Love the little cacklers!
Decent looking tucker there. That stew thing looks top notch.
Really glad episodes are back on KZhead.
This was a great, easy-going, mouthwatering episode!.... Good Job
Fully feathered head… Steve: that’s a drake gadwall (while Steve is holding a wigeon) 😂😂
Can't get enough of this content great stuff!!
I’ll watch anything with Chef Jean-Paul
Love it, what a great episode.
Need more JP content, keep the duck hunts coming!. I love this show more than any other show in the world..

4:45 My dude, PEE-Roe!!! Lol great episode.
Chicken Gizzards is one of my favorite foods on the planet. I need to try duck gizzards.
Absolutely awesome Video!! Jean-Paul is awesome!! These videos are amazing!! 🤗🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻
Such a great show. Loved it. Reminds me of my childhood.
All those gizzards and hearts make for a good gravy!! Also, Louisiana is called "Sportsmans Paridise" for a reason.
Fantastic work boys love the video and my eyes can smell the feast love it
Like the dog fetching
Watching this makes me wana take some time off work and get at er up here in Canada
Good will hunting my trip I want to go to Louisiana especially the bayous and catching ducks, crawfishes, and fishes
Glad to see y'all down south! ^^ As soon as I get my courses done and my licenses ready to go, I'm heading out with my bow as soon as the season starts! I've been aspiring to be a hunter since I was little and I'm hoping this year is the year I finally get out there! :) Y'all stay cool if you ever come back down this way, we're boiling down here at this point after that month-long drought lol
Chef JPB is a great addition to the channel. He's awesome and funny too.
Great episode
Living in California for my entire life I’ve been a fan of Steve and the meat eater crew for awhile now and I want nothing more to live this life feels so far away though. I hope I can get here one day
Brother I live In northern cali and while it may not be Louisiana swamps you can do damn fine hunting and fishing here. Lot of great waterfowl hunting to be done here.
Believe it or not northern California is one of the best places in the country for waterfowl hunting! Go check out the Black Butte Lake.
lol hilarious you mentioned that. Im 10 minutes away. Our refuges out here been great the last few years too.@@Will97675
If you live in Socal, Wister Unit by the Salton Sea is almost exactly like their hunts in this vid.
@Will97675 if I understand correctly, CA is where hunters come to get their Teal Trifecta.
😂😂😂😂😂 bro got so uncomfortable when he said kiss the cook gave that little side eye
Love this!
The calls and the shot was awesome lol
Man this channel is like a warm blanket.
love watching chef jp shows
I love Louisiana!!
Live ya brother Steve, and the chef, seen him a few times, ive used yalls recipes
As always great episode I don’t waterfowl hunt but here in Oregon the people who do tell me there’s no better place upland hunting is my thing and I can definitely tell you there’s no better place maybe some day you can come to gods country thanks again Steve
Lol! Dat couyon said “pa-rouges” mais sha’ it’s pronounced “pee-rogs”!
LMAO. I’ve seen people claim 3 different pronunciations are the ‘correct’ one in these comments.
Great episode. The Gallinule looks exactly like what we call in Ireland and the United Kingdom a Moorhen.
southern french accent is not something i was expecting to enjoy this much
