  • In this short video, Perking has detonated a massive sculpture of TNT, leaving in its place a massive crater, which he then turns into a beautiful masterpiece. In this way, he has demonstrated the taoist principle of yin and yang, the metaphysical idea that opposites, whether they are good and evil, life and death, or in this instance, creation and destruction, complement each other. Out of the ruins of the TNT he created a beautifully crafted landscape, itself depicting a land torn and set ablaze by war. Truly a deep and thought-provoking video.
