    • Do you think Ukraine will have an inverted offensive this year? If the territory was occupied more than the end of last year at the end of this year, Russia will be successful. Ukraine is currently retreating. Ukraine has to "recapture of territory" to compensate the result of the loss of the Avdiivka.

    • Tell the Ukrainian Government that the vast majority of American citizens are against any additional support for Ukraine. Even people like myself who was originally in favor of supporting Ukraine are completely against any additional support for Ukraine. Beyond just speaking for myself, I see many politicians who continue to support Ukraine in opposition to the wisdom of Democracy, losing their positions in Congress and the Presidency in the upcoming elections. You can not say that you support Democracy and at the same time refuse to listen to the people who don't want to fund foreign wars.

    • @@WaterlooBUkraine should have accepted peace with the Russians back in 2022. All that has happened since was Hundreds of Billions of Dollars getting wasted, Hundreds of thousands of people dying and very little land movement in the line of contact. The Russians voluntarily left the land in the west and around the Ukrainian Capitol as a good will offer to encourage peace and the Russians have refrained from renewed ground attacks in much of the Northern Ukraine since. This was in spite of the Ukrainians attacking the Russians in Belgorod and Kursk, up till now. Maybe you support endless wars but I live in South Dakota in the United States and no one I know supports funding the War in Ukraine anymore. As a inter state truck driver I meet thousands of people and all feel this way.

  • I spent some time gathering information from the ISW and local sources to argue the case, in writing, for increased support for Ukraine from my country, Australia. We aren't spending anywhere near the percentage of GDP that comparable nations are. I write to the Prime minister and the ministers or defence and foreign affairs and re send the mail weekly. Australia needs to step up and visit Ukraine and we need an ambassador there. Any Australians on here keep contacting the ministers or your representatives. It does make a difference.

    • Dear Australian cousins (from the UK), Slava Ukraini! I do love your positive and generous nature. I find it so heart-warming that you want to do the right thing for Ukraine, even though you are so far away from Europe. I often marvel at the fact that you were so helpful during the First and Second World Wars. Surely you could have stayed isolated and left us to flounder, but you jumped in with both feet and sacrificed your men to help us. I am eternally grateful for you, New Zealand, Canada and India's support, to help the UK and France, who were the only allies at first, and we needed you so much.

Biden wants to send money to Ukraine, so Republicans said if you want Ukraine money, we are going to add to the bill, the money to fix the southern border. • A note about English. "Burned down" refers only to buildings or fixed structures (like trees) being destroyed by fire. "Burned up" means "totally destroyed by heat or fire" and refers to anything, but usually not buildings or trees. Why the "down" in "Burned down"? Because these were fixed objects that reached upward from the ground. "We burned down the forest." "We burned down the buildings." These objects are now on the ground but used to be in the air.

Russia has 100 times more power than it used against Ukraine. Russia has so far considered the situation in Ukraine as pest control. Moreover, the pest was Zelensky belonging to the West and his Nazi army. When dealing with pests, you don't burn down the whole house, you expel the pests. The West is concerned that Russia will not be able to hold back for long if there is an escalation like the Moscow massacre. It won't take Russia two years to destroy Ukraine. If she wanted to, then in two weeks Ukraine would have turned into a history lesson for Eastern European children. It would be a crater in the ground."

  • Well, I do not think that Ukraine is losing any support from abroad. I think the reason why the military support is a lot less than in the previous two years is that the easily available resources and machinery is already depleted. And the newly manufactured equipment is not yet ready. I share the opinion that Europe has not been prepared for this situation and that it is not that quick with the restocking of ammunition as it is needed in case of war. For European countries, it is a difficult situation. They are not in war, but should restock their military equipment like they are in war. They see the need to defeat Ruzzia but think that they cannot convince the electorate to pay for the necessary spending. And there are political extremists, supported by Ruzzia, that make it hard for the governments to lead the way, because they are so loud, and it is easy for these radicals in this time of "best news, are disturbing news" to gain attention from the media. This is the reason of the felt lack of support for Ukraine, I think.
