Family... I remember as a teenager, loaning my jacket to my sister the same way, particularly at parties, where creepy eyes were leering. Male Idols are all-too-aware of both the creepy Saesang (I think that's the word?) and perverted camera fans who try to take upskirt shots, etc... Just typing that made me mad. On a slightly different note: I work in a nightclub, and our security guards really love throwing out men being gross and creepy. This video reminded me of some of those instances as well.
Its more like pr campain from the industry. Males outfit contain a jacket to cover up the exposure of the to short skirts of the females. Its a full circle. In the rest of the world females get long dresses when they atend a award show to sit down without exposing everething, so the jacket „gesture“ is not needed. 🤷🏿♂️

One of these moments I think about a lot is when Yesung from Super Junior and Goo Hara were paired together on an old show (I don’t remember the name of it) and the MC (Go Youngwook) handed out his personal card to Hara telling her to call him after the show bc he liked her (I have to mention that Hara was underage at the time) so without even thinking about it, Yesung took the card to rip it to shreds and called him a crazy m*therf*cker, all on broadcast Yesung got a lot of backlash for it at the time bc it was considered extremely rude for him to do that to Youngwook since he was older than him but a few years later Youngwook was convicted for s*xually assaulting minors (It’s really disturbing too how Yesung got so much hate for doing that like somehow nobody at the time thought it was weird that a grown man was telling a minor to meet him at a bar with clearly bad intentions behind it except Yesung ???)

But that's not to say that female idols don't equally act respectfully and well mannered to others. And secondly, yes I agree, both sexes should be taught to be respectful and considerate of people in general. But that is considerably irrelevant in this situation as I've suggested earlier. Also, the society and environment the artists work in sometimes requires mindful consideration of the female artists due to their dressing and culture. And sometimes the boys need help too, they can help each other. It's just being polite, nothing too serious. If you can't find videos you are satisfied with, can make some or politely suggest for content creators to make some. So quite frankly, I don't see why you brought it up here except to vent or something. Please don't bring in an equality claim here unwarranted. The right things done/said at the right time and the right place make alot of difference.

Despite seeing so much hate towards kpop by non kpop fans and by toxic fans and stans all the time and the how much hard work and dedication and patience and a lot more things which I haven't mentioned like how the bad stuff(you know what I mean) and how some companies or should I say label (sorry if I am wrong) put so much stress and restrictions onto them(and I know in this the toxic fans and stans play an important factor why there are restrictions on them)and many others things and they still deliver top quality or should I say they have to and how much the bad side of the kpop is portraited towards non kpop fans and the beauty of the kpop, the real meaning behind their songs and what groups try to symbolize and glorify through their songs,how to live a joyful life and live to your fullest and freedomful (well i cant say for sure cause I only have heard like 4-5 songs and were amazing and they subtly represent many things even their whole theme of a song but pretty sure many,maybe all groups try to potrait this by different ways and not just this but many others things maybe even smallest things and aspects of life)(I personally have heard only 4-5 songs only)and how many fandoms keeps getting into a fight with each other(you know what, it's an aspect of life so we really can't blame it.)rather than missing the whole point, many fans realize that and some dont(but these some and many are in huge numbers).Ofc there are some idols who do or I should say they did some bad things, many many things in the industry which are wrong and bad. Wanted to write many things about how and what groups and their songs carry and represent and encourage and many others things but I am unable to express anything at all cause my grammar and vocabulary are weak lol.Really want to get into kpop and will get into it. Whoever reads this and whoever didn't read it and didn't came across it, wish you a really good day and a good life, live your life to the fullest, you have the freedom(Many don't even have).
