    • No, they can't turn if off, as they had a contractual agreement with the EU to supply it with gas at the agreed price, if they turn off the pumps they break the contract, that is not something that can be easily broken.

    • Your comment does not make sense at all. Firstly, they discovered the leak a day after the explosions. So they weren't standing there ready with a camera. The Danish navy had first to be contacted by the operators of the pipeline when they registered a sudden drop in pressure. Secondly, of course they would film it to have evidence. Every sensible person would do that.

It seems likely that the detonation changes had been in place for sometime and synchronised to go off almost simultaneously. I don’t know the water depth at the locations. It maybe that divers were involved, but if that was saturation diving, this would have to have been a very complex operation with significant front end planing. There seems to be an awful lot of people in the know with their pockets bulging with BitCoin.

    • the pipelines were bouth inoperable,, But still pressurised. At that depth, (ca 80m), the gas will expand to 8 times the escaping volume by the time it has rissen to the surface. Since the gas in the line was probebly pressurised to higher preassure then just the ambient waterpreassure at the leak sites, my assumpion is actualy a minimum estimate.

  • Not the first time, during construction there was at least one act ..or rather attempted act ..of sabotage. Suspicions at the time fell squarely on those who didn’t want that pipeline in the first place ….and looks like they want to finish the job because whoever dominates the market sets the price and controls the nations dependent on their goodwill. The damage to the environment by this act …oh that …there’s no sentiment on business, just cold hard profit to be made . I don’t know if the US envisaged alternative pipeline has already been set up.
