2024 ж. 25 Ақп.
297 864 Рет қаралды

MS-21, a modern Russian single-aisle twinjet airliner. The aircraft is set to be the answer to the Boeing 737 MAX and the Airbus A320 due to its aircraft performance characteristics and cost-effectiveness. Its main advantages are advanced aerodynamics and the newest engines along with the extended application of composite materials.

    • Mi-26 was build by Soviet Union. Russia haven't build anything yet. MC-21 program was started 17 years ago and no one knows when this plane will fly due to no engines. Same as no engines for SU-57. Russia can't make their own jet engines.

The problem is there is the rest of the world, who dont care about sanctions and they happily sell things to Russia including microchips (especially Asian countries). Moreover, even many Western companies bypass the sanctions and sell things to Russia secretly via non-western resellers. This is simply the nature of capitalism - money always wins over politics.

They thought the Sukhoi SSJ might fit their requirements and took two on trial to evaluate them. The SSJ was a nice, but very unreliable aircraft, and had no spares or service backup. They spent most of their time on the ground. So they were returned to the manufacturer. It could have been a great story for Russian airliner builders, but alas was just another great failure. Getting certification for the MC21 in the west will be quite a problem.

Also think out of the box to have industrial revolution for chips, current chip developments is nearing end of road 3nm, there must have something simpler to replace chip production n chip technology. Have another breakthrough Russia,.. To your success cheers 🥂

  • Get over yourselves, the Russians built a great Airliner. I was the first Flight test Jet engine mechanic for the MC-21-300 in Zhukovsky 2017 and Siberia. The same companies that designed Boeing's 787 major systems also designed the systems for the MC-21-300. Pratt engines, Shorts Brothers Aviation from Ireland build the thrust reverses and engine Nacelles. The same company built the Flight deck for the 787.
