2011 was such a crazy year for passing, Brady, Brees, and Stafford all threw for 5000, Eli and Romo were close with 4900, and Rodgers had his own crazy season as well
Four of the top 10 from 2011.
Jonathan Dee The One And Only except for Peyton Manning
Rodgers would've had 5000 too if he played the last game of the season. It's the best season for Quarterbacks ever. Almost had 6 Quarterbacks pass for 5000 yards that's insane
Isaiah Prout He sat out multiple 4th quarters as well because the packers offense was unstoppable
@@awesomegamer9981 Right I forgot about that had he played the whole time he would've easily surpassed 5200+ and shattered the Passing Touchdown record at the time. While only having 6 or 7 INTS and shattering the passer rating record. He's ridiculous.
2011 was such a great year for elite QB play. Really spoiled for choice. You got Aaron Rodgers leading a 15-1 Packers team, Tom Brady putting up another solid season, Drew Brees competing with Rodgers in the MVP race, Mathew Stafford having the best year of his career, and even Eli Manning putting up awesome numbers and coming up clutch in several 4th-quarters on his way to another insanely improbable Super Bowl run.
Lockout

@@teamalphabeta1823 Oh God; Im in NYC I have Jet fan friends; I feel bad for them; Adam Gase. Then I remember my team has Gettlemen and a f--ing new HC coach Bellichik felt wasnt good enough to coordinate an offense, or defense, and then demoted him to WRs for 2019. The worst year for WRs in 20 years of Patriots history. Jesus Christ, Gettlemen. 0-16; we need it; 4-12 aint gonna cut it. Look at the video how NFL games are won; and then draft a QB with 6.8 YPA in his best year in college.
The Dolphins could have had Burrow; all they had to do was Keep Gase; and tell him 'Do your best". Especially trading all those budding stars of 2019. The Dolphins might have found a way to go 0-17 in a 16 game season with Gase in 2019.
Fun fact: none of these guys won the Super Bowl those years.
That’s actually crazy
That’s not fun
It's a shame mahomes didnt I'm not a chiefs fan but he should be a back to back champ they were clearly the best team that year he just got bellichecked.

@DMShadowMan Makes sense. At least he’s better now. The Minneapolis Miracle and the Cubs final out seem to be evidence of that.

Can't wait to see all the seasons from 2011. Best year for QB's of all time, nothing else comes close. Edit: Yep, almost half the list was 2011 lol
2013 Peyton Manning? Set the single season passing yards and TDs record?
@@Nnhaa986 That's one elite season. Now give me four more from that can compete with the amount of elite seasons that were had in 2011.
@@Hummabubba But it was the greatest season. And the #1 offense of all time.
@@Nnhaa986 One great quarterback season does not a great season for quarterbacks (plural) make. Yes, it's the greatest single season for a quarterback of all time, but look at the 4 QB seasons on here from 2011, they're all elite and could've been MVP seasons almost any other year. No other year has half as many entries on the list as 2011 does. That's my point.
Yeah, 2011 takes the cake without a doubt. Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Mathew Stafford were so elite that year. It doesn't even stop there. Eli Manning also had an elite year despite going 9-7. He set the record for single-season 4th-quarter comebacks and 4th-quarter touchdowns and had the most improbable Super Bowl run of the decade. You also have Alex Smith completely reviving his career with Jim Harbaugh, leading the team to a 13-3 record and to an NFC Championship game appearance.

Yeah. Brees, Rodgers, Stafford, Brady, and Eli all had amazing years
The fact that yall didn't include Brady's 2010 season where he won MVP UNANIMOUSLY, is ridiculous

Wrong decade.
i dont think that counts as this decade
Dude they included Lamars 2019 mvp year in a list about passing...right off the bat you know it’s sus
He was great that year but he only threw for 3,900 yards. But what he did to integrate 2 rookie TE's that year and Welker was has only WR until they traded for Deion Branch. Once Brady got Branch he didn't throw a INT in the final 11 games. He threw 4 in the first 5 games, most were targeting Moss and he didn't fight for the ball. Moss had sort of quite so they traded him.
Lamar jackson (2019) at 10? He had an mvp season but that was because of his dual threat ability not because of his amazing passing skills.
Agreed, shouldn't have made the list
he had the most TD passes that season
Devronicus he still should have.
@@collinghood6828 Not really. When there are probably at least 3 or 4 better passing seasons this decade than his, he shouldn't have made the list. If it was the best QB seasons of the decade, he'd be top 5, maybe even top 3, but when it comes to passing, he was much closer to 3,000, yards passing than 4,000 yards and in a full season, that's just not up to snuff for a list about the best passing seasons of the decade.

@Harry Engel I'm unsure how Moreno wasn't a pro bowler, he had 1,586 yards and 13 touchdowns from scrimmage, and 1,038 rushing. Generally, guys who put up 1,500 yards and 10 touchdowns total with over 1,000 rushing yards make the pro bowl, but in this particular instance, he did not
Who’s here after Rodgers put up another season worthy of this list?
And another one this year 🤣🤣
Kinda mad they didn't put Brady's 2016 season had the best Td/Int ratio of all time that year
That year was the greatest year a QB has ever had. That year he had the highest graded season ever for a QB (94.9/100) according to Pro Football Focus, who grades every throw of every game and has been doing so since 2006. He set the all time TD/INT ratio with 28 TD's against 2 INT's. He also completed 67.4% of his passes and averaged 8.2 yards per attempt! He was 11-1 in 12 games, winning the same number of games as league MVP Matt Ryan in 4 fewer starts. And he did it without Gronk. But what really separates Brady's 2016 season from every other season a QB has had is how he finished it. In Marino's 84 season, Manning's 04 season, Brady's 07 season, Rodgers' 11 season, Manning's 13 season, and Mahomes' 18 season, they didn't win it all. In 2016 Brady won the Superbowl against league MVP Matt Ryan and the Falcons by passing for what was then a Superbowl record 466 yards (a record he would break the next year) and led the biggest comeback in Superbowl history. But most of all, he got his revenge against Roger Goodell for the BS deflategate suspension. He got to take the trophy from the man who tried to ruin his legacy, and bask in the glory of watching Goodell get booed off the podium. Between the stats, winning the Superbowl in the dramatic and historic fashion that he did, and getting revenge on Goodell and the entire NFL, nobody has ever had a better season as a QB than Brady did in 2016
I was thinking the same thing. The only thing hurting him was the 4 game suspension. And the fact that Matt Ryan was red hot that year. It if Brady had played those 4 extra games, he would have won the MVP
Sean Hyland Probably one of the greatest comments I’ve seen.
@@seanhyland4228 Because they had an easy schedule
@@nflprimehighlights1060 I don't think they played an easy defensive schedule, though. That's what matters when grading Brady.
Why is Big Ben from 2014 not on this list, 4952 yards, over 30 TD, back to back 6 TD games, 2nd 500 yard game
Mike Keller, one of those 6 td games against us😔. Also, Luck tripping in the endzone

30tds ain't alot
Man, 2011 was an insane year
2011 is arguably the greatest QB season of all time.
Lamar didn’t even throw for over 4,000 yards. He was MVP, but that was because people were blinded by his rushing yards and the media. Russell Wilson and Mahomes both did better than him passing and overall.
Other QBs did better than Mahomes stats wise. Lamar was the passing TDs leader.
He didn't have many passing yards becasue he had few pass attempts. He still lead the league in TD passes
LJ is what michael vick could be, he really deserved the MVP
Kai von Fintel he didn’t throw as much as other qbs
Agreed. If this was the top 10 best QB seasons of the 2010's, he would 100% deserve to be on here. But this is exclusively passing. Yes, he led the league in passing TD's, but he didn't even break 3,200 passing yards. "Well he didn't need too because he's such a good runner!" Well yeah, but that just further proves why he shouldn't be on here. Drew Brees 2018 or 2013 seasons or Aaron Rodgers 2012 season all deserve to be on here more than Jackson's season. Nothing but love for the guy, but this is about passing.
I love this shitt keep it up can you do some player career videos
Best channel on KZhead hands down
I don’t like number 10, it was a season that was known for Lamar Jackson’s running ability. He had a wonderful above average passing season, 36 TD to 6 INT, but Aaron Rodgers in 2016, he threw 40 TDs and carried the packers to the NFC championship game. Number ten is not we’re it should be
Remember Lamar didn’t play the last game of the season and also was rested in the fourth quarter of like 5 games, he could’ve easily had 40+ touchdowns that year
And Brady’s 2010 season was way better than Lamars too
@@benadams3610 Take it from a Steelers fan, top 10 passing seasons, I wouldn't let it sniff the list. If it was top 10 Quarterback Seasons, which adds Lamar's 1,206 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns, I might put it top 5
Same could be said about Andrew Luck’s 2014 season over 4,700 yards and 40 touchdown passes and carried the Colts to the AFC championship

Gotta disagree with Lamar Jackson being on here. A large majority of his stats were based off his running game, which he balanced perfectly, but this is top *PASSING* seasons.
Did you see his passing? Lead the league in TDs. Had an insane TD-INT ratio.
@@jramz5176 He had a lot of opportunities based around his running and threat of running the football. Not his pure passing alone. His playactions probably wouldn't work that well if he didnt run so much. This is passing seasons, not MVP seasons.

Lamar Jackson is the only running back to throw for 36 passing TDS in a single season, insane.
You guys have to make a video for James Develin. An old school type of player who paved the way to 3 Super Bowl victories, 4 Super Bowls, 5 AFC championship titles, and lead the way to 6 AFC championship games. So, show the fullback some love for making a video about James Develin.
What Brees did with not a strong arm is jus amazing, very smart player
Rodgers 2016 > Jackson 2019
I’m surprised Tom Brady’s 2010 season wasn’t on this list
Yeah I think that should've been in place of Lamar at #10.
For some reason, that is a very underrated season by him. But if you watch, he really was amazing. And that hair, couldn’t go wrong with that TB12.
That's a travesty
At the very least it should have over-taken his 2011 spot. The only reason his 2011 season made the list was because of the 5300+ yards (3rd most all time). But his 2010 season was more efficient and he won the MVP that year. Hell, I’d consider his 2016 or 2017 seasons more efficient than 2011
I think his season where he played 12 games was better than that one.
Fun fact, drew brees also owns the number 4,3,2, and 1 spots for highest completion percentage this decade, as well as 2,4,5,6, and 10 on passing yards this decade, number 6 and 9 on most passing touchdowns this decade .
Man Matt Ryan throwing touchdowns to 13 different receivers is beyond insane to think about.

Lamar is was ranked 22nd in the league in passing yards. He’s not even a top 50 passer of the 2010s
While he shouldn't have been on the list, boiling it down solely to passing yards is a bit silly. He led the league in TD's and passer rating, good for 11th best single season passer rating of all time.
Devronicus He was good but not top 10 of the decade. The only reason he was so good was because of his running ability. That’s what he’s known for
@@SW.Productions Agreed, he shouldn't have been on the list, however to completely discount his passing ability is disingenuous. Yes, he's best known for his mobility, but that's not to say that he's not also a great passer. There's enough of a sample size to say that if he had to rely on his arm, he could. You don't just fall into the 11th best passer rating of all time (that's including not fully played seasons) without having some notable talent throwing the ball. Again, that's not to say he should've made this list, but it's also not to say he's just a running back who throws sometimes.

its a joke
Brennan McKinney bro winston is the best qb in the league tell me who else in league history has a 30/30 season
Elvin Tran No other QB in NFL history can have a 30 for 30 special called “30 and 30”
The fact Drew wasn’t on this list like 5 times is absurd lol
For people saying Lamar shouldn’t be on here.. this is about passing seasons and regardless of also running a lot as a part of his resume he was so dominant passing as well. Maybe not top 10 but he had a great year and people need to remember that.
Why did you guys put a running back on here
That Seahawks defense was so good against Peyton Manning. Russell for mvp next year
Lmao you don't believe that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sheldon Mackey it’s believable considering people were actually debating it for this year.. got dk in his 2nd year, couple badass te’s coming back... easier schedule this year..
@@nicknelson6583 wanna bet dat nigga dont win no MVP
2011 was a good year for quarterbacks
That manning team was so fun to watch
Matt Ryan way too low
The Catholic Bear lucky he got on the list
@@thomast6517 He's too low, ain't nothing lucky about it, it's pure skill.
syminite1 he pretty good but to say he is low is not right
Lamar Jackson shouldn’t be on this list. 2014 Big Ben should replace him
I'm baffled by the fact that they put Mahomes' season ahead of Rodgers' 2011 campaign. Aaron had a better record, more yards per attempt, a higher completion percentage, less interceptions, a better TD to INT ratio, a higher TD pass percentage, a lower INT percentage, and a higher passer rating. And he did this with a far worse O-line and receiving core than Mahomes. Rodgers had just 5 less TDs and half the INTs than Patrick did. Recency bias is a crazy thing
Rodgers was laying absolute darts
where da **** is russell wilson
In all seriousness, he just didn’t have a top 10 season this decade. Had a whole bunch of really good ones but not a historic one like most of these
realitities2 People sleep on his 2015 season. 25 tds 2 picks in 8 games, 5 straight games with 3 tds and no picks, led the league in passer rating that year. I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that year was better than stafford’s and jackson’s year that were on this list
@Sasuke Uchiha you’re capping saying it’s not at least top 15
This is already terrible, Lamar Jackson did not have the 10th best season. This is a joke smh
Well, he lead the league in passing touchdowns, only threw 6 interceptions, and nearly lead the league in passer rating. All of this despite ALSO putting up QB rushing records and leading a team that had the number one rushing offense. That deserves praise, and I say that as a Browns fan. Keep in mind this dude was only like 22 when the season started. Yeah, Lamar's Ravens are known for their options plays, but his ability to throw and make plays with his arm were honestly a weapon people overlooked.
Dewitt McDidditt yeah but there’s been other qbs with better passing seasons.
Dewitt McDidditt he cares about his age, who cares about his rushing, who cares if it was the best in that particular season. He is competing for the decade, not the 2020 season.
Joke whr is brady moss yr
I'm happy Matt Ryan made this list, his 2016 season was unbelievable.
Jarvase dundy Matt Ryan played incredibly in 2018 as well, but he was on the Falcons, so nobody gave a shit. Also, Patrick Mahomes was blowing the league wide open at the time.
@@richardsinclair7661 Indeed, but it could also be that the Falcons went 7-9 in 2018 instead of 11-5 his mvp season.
@@jarvasedundy1 That isn't fair. "QB wins" isn't a category, and Matt Ryan shouldn't be held accountable for the team's mistakes. He played lights out in 2018, but the Falcons didn't have a big enough number in the wins column for people to care. It sucks.
@@richardsinclair7661 Lol you basically just said what I said in my previous statement. That's the point I made saying reason why people didn't care cause he went 7-9. I didn't say it was his fault though bro. I was explaining the two difference of it from his 2016 (winning season) vs 2018 (losing record) he played great in 2018 😎
@@jarvasedundy1 My bad, dude. I'm going to college for Computer Engineering but my specialty is redundancy.
That Manning year is insane
When is the nfl gonna stop using passer rating? Such an outdated stat. Get with the times
@Slatternly Skaghalter QBR is a much much better measure of passing efficiency than passer rating
@Andrew Fischbach No.. It's just having a simple understanding of what QBR and passer rating is. One is clearly superior than the other
@Sasuke Uchiha no. One is statistically superior
None of them won a Super Bowl that year.
Wes Welker was a part of the receiving core for 2 of these QB seasons. If he aint lucky
Number 9 comes in as ninth Stafford is a beast in my eyes

How is Ben’s 5,000 yard season in 2018 not on here??? The disrespect smh
Drew brees has 5 seasons with more passing yards than Ben. They didn’t put drew Brees 5 times

No Khalil Mack? I mean, I hate the Raiders and got no love for the Bears, but don't forget how effective he was at his best. Von Miller in 2015 should probably get a knod as well for the historic playoff run he had(though that really isn't something one considers in these lists).
The fact that Mahomes was 5 Touchdowns away from tying the record with Manning is scary.
Just think If he had like 3 against Jacksonville and played the rest of week 17
What’s scary is Manning threw 5 more TDs with no ability to get away from pressure. GOAT

Saying Patrick Mahomes has the 2nd most touchdowns in a single season is crazy, considering he has only had a 3 year career, already being compared to G.O.A.Ts, for me as a Colts fan, I feel like he has a bright future and I don't want us to face him anytime soon. One of the scariest teams in the AFC.
