One Pot Greek Meat Orzo 🥘 For Those With A High Mood 😋
✅ Ingredients as added
2 cubes of butter
1 tablespoon oil
4 cardamom pods
2 bay leaves
2 cloves mastic
½ kilo of meat, cut into thin slices
1 large onion, chopped
Cover the meat with boiling water
1 cube of butter
400 grams of orzo
½ red, yellow and green pepper, medium slices
2 tablespoons tomato paste
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon turmeric
¼ teaspoon Chinese kebab (optional)
½ teaspoon black pepper
4 cups of soup or 4 cups of water with a chicken stock cube
Salt, to taste
1 cube of butter
¼ cup peanuts
¼ cup raisins

How to prepare :
1. Heat two cubes of butter and a tablespoon of oil in a deep pot over medium heat.
2. Add 4 cardamom pods, 2 bay leaves, and 2 mastic cloves to the bowl. Stir the ingredients for 30 seconds until their aromas are released.
3. Place half a kilogram of meat cut into thin slices in the bowl. Stir the meat until it browns and dries from the liquids.
4. Add a large chopped onion to the pot and stir until it turns golden yellow.
5. Cover the meat with boiling water and leave it on low heat to cook. Stir the meat from time to time and add more water if the meat gets dry.
6. After the meat is completely cooked, add a cube of butter and 400 grams of orzo. Stir the ingredients until the orzo takes on a golden color.
7. Add half a red, yellow, or green pepper, cut into medium slices, to the bowl. Stir the ingredients for two minutes until the peppers are slightly browned.
8. Add two tablespoons of tomato paste to the bowl and stir for two minutes.
9. Add a quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric, a quarter teaspoon of Chinese kebab (optional), and half a teaspoon of black pepper. Stir the ingredients for a minute.
10. Add 4 cups of soup or water with a chicken stock cube to the pot. Adjust salt as desired. Leave the mixture on low heat for 10 minutes.
11. After 10 minutes, add the roasted orzo to the bowl and stir the ingredients. Leave it on low heat, stirring from time to time, until the orzo is dried.
12. In another bowl, roast a quarter cup of peanuts for a minute. Then add a quarter cup of raisins and stir the ingredients for half a minute until the raisins swell.
13. Add the roasted peanuts and raisins to the main bowl containing the meat and rice mixture.
