А какое продолжение и так понятно... Война. Он не бирюльки играет, он вражеский офицер. После русского фронта---у него руки будут в крови по локоть. Да он вначале был на вен и не до конца понимал фашисткую идеология. Но его быстро поправили и он понял, что между ним и девушкой пропасть.... Так по сюжету повести...

No I don’t. It would then become mundane. This way it was a great unspoken , but very strong love. He will not return as the Russian front found millions of deaths on all sides and she now as a resistance fighter will be found out and shot. In a way they are sealing their love through the ultimate sacrifice. There is no greater love than a tragic ending. Much like Greek tragedies. In war there are few happy endings. WAR IS HELL.

Зачем продолжение и так понятно- он уезжает на русский фронт, где у него руки будут по локоть в крови. Там все было поставлено на уничтожение русской нации. Он там будет убивать местное население, партизан или в действующей армии биться за идеологию Гитлера. Он же понял, что война эта не философия и любовные приключения, его друзья дали ему понять, что война это сила, насилие, убийство. В западных странах оккупирование не было столь трагичным, поэтому он не до понимал и еще как говорят пороха не нюхал. А вот на Российском фронте сполна проникнется духом войны. И зачем это продолжение , ясно вряд ли живым он вернется. Русские покажут немцам , * где раки зимуют*.

Really appreciate how clear the picture is in this video. The quality of the full movie I watched was pretty good, but here I can see both their expressions so much better…which is of course the most beautiful aspect of the film. Everything they convey through the eyes

He was angry that he could do nothing . He was helpless . He was not angry at her but at himself for not protecting her .

In my opinion he is angry firstly because he realises how bad things might have gone if he hadn’t come at that moment and secondly because he blames her for punishing him as if he is the worst person in the world (although he has shown his real self and emotions to her so many times) and for not realizing who her real enemy is!!!

He is not angry, he is hurt in his love and just feeling some 'dépit amoureux' which is a mix of disappointment, wounded ego, bitterness, feeling of injustice and slight irritation.

@@thelittlelovemaid More information:The Iron Cross 2nd Class came with a ribbon and the cross itself was worn in one of two different ways: From the second button in the tunic for the first day after award. When in formal dress, the entire cross was worn mounted alone or as part of a medal bar. Note that for everyday wear, only the ribbon itself was worn from the second buttonhole in the tunic.
