This is an unboxing, mounting and testing of the Arken Optics ZULUS 5-20x LRF with my initial and final thoughts

I bought one of these two weeks back and I'm also left handed. After you get used to the button layout it's no problem at all. The only thing I added is a throw lever for the focus not that is's tight as it's not I just wanted something extra to get hole of. I'm still getting to grips with mine but so far it's brilliant. Thanks for the tip on the battery length I find my screw cap quite hard to replace so guess my battery is a long one so will look for some short ones.👍

Good video. 👍 The Sightmark Wraith has all functions on the top, so its easy to use with either hand.

Thankyou . The quality between the sightmark and the ZULUS is really different . Your right the buttons are in similar locations but the Sightmark is bulkier .

@@FieldsportsScotland I own 2 wraiths ...and both Zulus models ...and 2 pard thermals ....love em all ....but the Arkens are in another league compared to the sightmarks....so light so small and quality is unprecedented ....LOVE Arken and the company and owner are all the best in the business......

Hello! In daytime mode, how do you know exactly where the distance meter measures? Is it possible to zero the rangefinder? Pard binoculars indicate the location of the measurement both in night and day mode and can be zeroing.
@E30AllradАй бұрын
In day mode it comes up with a red small crosshair at the left hand side of the main reticle . You will have to zoom back to 5x or 6.5 x to see it . The rangefinder is not able to be zeroed but is very accurate

If you would, perhaps operate your Zulus using 9900mAh batteries and give us a report on battery life. Enjoyed and appreciate your through review of Arkens' newest addition to their line of quality scopes (of which I own five). I can't help but believe a "thermal" is on their drawing board.

Thankyou . I will source a couple of the more powerful batteries I am using 3400 mah ones just now and I get around 7 hours battery life if using on first IR setting which is plenty sufficient to 250yrds . Thermal I am told is already in production and on its way .

What model is the torque screwdriver ??
@JohnVK5JAKАй бұрын
amzn.to/3Q8tKuC this is the one I use you might need to get some additional torq heads but this is by far the simplest and best one I have used that doesn't break the bank

The display in Arken is twice smaller than in 008.

Not really sure your right about that. The quality of image in the Arken is far better than the Pard

I’m guessing you are left eye dominant then?

Yer I am . I can shoot ambidextrous but predominantly left eye left shoulder right hand bolt . I have competed in comps and done very well with it. It does make using some units difficult to work with but I always manage it.

You own nothing if it needs a APP folks the app will always belong to the company and they can switch you off Any time they feel fit to do so which the way the world is going will be quite soon. At least you can use it without one but people must start to learn that you don't own ANYTHING that's connected to the system you can and will one day lose it at the push of a button

Hi There thank you for your comment. This products isn't controlled by the app, the app adds additional features that then can be sent to the storage of the unit and used on the unit, the app does not need to be connected the unit at all times, so the product is completely controlled and owned by you. Connecting the app to this product is only needed for transfer of data to upgrade firmware or ballistic tables at any point you can fully take the unit back to factory settings and start again and at no point t will this effect the functioning of the product. I in fact recommend factory resetting the product if you do come across any issues with it. Thankyou for commenting and keeping this vlog relevant regards David, FSS admin
