The fact that this was a new sound for them, stepping out of their comfort zone and managing to SLAY us with this masterpiece. It's insane that they tried something new and still managed to be so true to their name BLACKPINK. It's giving me Crazy Over You upgrade. They really leveled up for BORN PINK. 16th September is not too far away. And I know people have been complaining about thing but when do they not. The constant changing of soundscape is what kpop has been most known for. Not sure what blackpink fans are saying but this song is right up their alley. That string instrument in the opening of the song is a traditional Korean instrument. And that actually jisoo playing it. She learned the basic cords specifically for this song. It's nice to hear someone acknowledge and appreciate Rose's vocals. I feel like a lot of the time the vocals (from Rose and Jisoo in particular) are overshadowed by the rap. Btw that's nothing against the other 2 girls! They always slay! and tbh Jennie is my bias. But it is very clear that people overlook the other 2 girls in the group. The constant changing of soundscape is what kpop has been most known for. Not sure what blackpink fans are saying but this song is right up their alley. Doesn't sound too different from what they have released before but different enough for ppl not to get bored maybe? That string instrument in the opening of the song is a traditional Korean instrument. And that actually jisoo playing it. She learned the basic cords specifically for this song. I’m beginning to think that blackpink doesn’t know how to miss. I don’t think “unsuccessful” is a word they are familiar with.

It's nice to hear someone acknowledge and appreciate Rose's vocals. I feel like a lot of the time the vocals (from Rose and Jisoo in particular) are overshadowed by the rap. Btw that's nothing against the other 2 girls! They always slay! and tbh Jennie is my bias. But it is very clear that people overlook the other 2 girls in the group.
