Calm Before the Storm Ambience (New Version) | Distant Thunder | Warm, Balmy & Windy | 3 HOURS

2022 ж. 8 Шіл.

UPDATE: There's now a Remastered 12-hr SLEEP version of this up on the channel :)
It’s a warm, summer evening, and a storm is approaching in the distance beyond the forest. The wind has already arrived, whipping up gusts of warm movement through the leaves. The atmosphere is balmy, there’s a lull and a heaviness in the air and the deep, distant rumbling is both soothing and powerful.
〰️
Due to popular request, I have created an alternate version of my original ‘Calm Before The Storm’ video, in a way that is entirely new and original, but addresses some requested changes. This version doesn't have the recurring "clicking" sound which bothered some people (which were tree branches creaking), and it is also a longer duration, for those wanting to use it to go to sleep.
This version features a brand new viewpoint of the scene, which shows much more of those glorious stormy skies and a little more movement in the trees and grass.
This project involved reworking everything in e-on VUE, then Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects, editing the new sound, editing the new video, encoding the new video and uploading here to KZhead.

🏝️ * About this channel *
Balmy Cove is an original channel crafted with love by a fellow ambient soundscape-lover, passionate about the benefits of ambience for relaxation and mental wellbeing.
Here, you can find comfort and reprieve from the stresses of your life, focus more easily on your study or work, fall asleep more easily, or simply retreat into escapism after a long day with a good book.
No matter what is going on in your life, you will always have these special places to hide in.
〰️
🏝️ * How I make these videos *
You can watch the process behind one of my videos here: • How I make my ambience...
All of my videos are completely original and made from scratch. They take weeks to produce and are completed in different stages.
I create my 3D scenes in VUE - sculpting terrains, sourcing materials, modelling items, and placing them into the scene, adjusting lighting, angles, and other effects.
Once I’ve rendered the scene, I might use compositing techniques and other adjustments in Adobe Photoshop to add in new features. Then, I import it into Adobe After Effects, where I bring the scene to life with various animations and effects.
Next, I create a soundscape specifically for the atmosphere by combining several sounds together using a sound mixer, which involves applying various settings and adjustments.
Finally, everything is put together with video editing software and uploaded here for you to enjoy!

  • Sometimes its hard for us to realize how crazy amazing it is to be a human here on earth. Im sorry for the lives that never got to expirience the beautiful things in it. Be thankful and be kind, respect our home we call earth, live in peace in this world of bad men. Teach others to be kind, enjoy food and earths gifts to you. Feel the rain feel the sun. Touch the dirt and water. Hug someone you love, tell them you love them. Life is so short, and becoming old is a huge privilege. After this who knows, but you will never be on this earth as you are here right now, ever again. God bless ❤ smell the rain?

  • I always dream of this. It is dusk and storm about to come. Living alone in quiet serene rural area. Before entering home, do a final rounding outside the house and check everything in place, secure and lock. Park the car into garage, garden tools into the shed, pet dog/cat is inside the home and keep the hanging cloths. Before entering the house, turn around a look into horizon, enjoy the view of coming dark scary storm, feel the breeze and take a deep breath. Do the rounding inside the house, doors and windows shut and lock and ready some emergency equipment. Everything is quiet for now. Boil some water and prepare tea/coffee and lit up the fireplace. Dog/cat on the couch, blanket on them. Turn on some dim light, put the smartphone away and do what you like the most. Reading/writing, working on hobby, crafting, listening to horror podcast, watching horror movie and so on.

It is very much appreciated 🥹 I had a frustrating day or two wrangling a render I was almost ready to publish but not happy with, so I’ve decided to go back to the drawing board! • I’ve always been kinda picky about rain and thunder sounds (mostly bc a lot don’t sound realistic or calming to me), and I’ve never found one as good as this one😃 Hits all the right points and very calming. On my speakers a little further away and lower volume, it really feels like it’s happening outside. Thanks for your channel, you have a new subscriber❤

I keep remembering the scent of watery air as, when i was a kid, some of the darkest clouds flew over my appartement bloks and it started pouring nd thundering everywhere. Love this.

  • This is one of the best faraway storm soundscapes I've come across on youtube. However, I have to say... there are sounds every few minutes that sound DISTINCTLY like footprints walking toward you, and if you have anxiety, it can be pretty unnerving, especially if it is unexpected.
