Have you ever thought maybe they're in the mix of making pets, seasons, etc but they want to bring out less important or smaller packs in the meantime, instead of nothing at all? I want pets and seasons just as bad as everyone else but that's my thought anyway..
Right? I think they are working on the packs we want like Seasons and Pets but I am glad we are getting small bits of content each month. It makes the game more enjoyable than waiting for 3 - 5 months with no new content like in The Sims 3.

I'd rather have nothing at all because this is taking valuable resources away from making the actual content this game needs. We don't need more high end couches we need actual gameplay. Instead of giving us piece meal items why not make ONE great EP? Why do we need a dozen small packs especially when those objects COULD have been added in an EP? Because they aren't working on any awesome EPs or anything truly great, they are just using morons as cash cows.
I want pets too but whats the point if you can only ride your horse and walk your dog in a 30x30 lot, they need to expand the roaming instead of loading venues.

Sevarate yeahbi agree I haven't got it yet yet but I have seen game play for it and Iw as kind of disappointed about the lack of being able to use elevators on residential lots like in the sims 3 and then the lack of not being able to mark any lot as an apartment lot and give us the ability to make like complexes and stuff in other worlds. There was a lot they could have done with that pack and it kind of flopped.

I was hella shocked about the no laptops. They had them in Uni and they were so versatile. In 4 the got rid of the house phone and newspaper yet left out a very important function in today's world. I know 1 person with a desktop because him mom got it for him as a surprise.
Laptops in City Living would've made the Social Media career more fun, which is why I've been thinking about them a lot lately. It stinks that I'm tethered to the home computer for all the social media stuff except for the checking into venues thing you can do on the phone.

So many people are complaining and it just makes me sad :/ like, I was excited for the pack... But everyone's all hung up on the Pets and Seasons game expansions, saying "EA isn't giving us what we want." Have you guys ever thought that *maybe* they're trying their best and are working harder to release more content even though they could be working on bigger projects? It makes me a bit irritated and upset seeing everyone demand something whenever a new little fun pack like this comes out. You don't HAVE to buy it, come on now.

I guess this might be my favorite stuff pack as I'm completely uninterested in the other ones so far, but I hope Seasons and Pets come out soon. I never really played as toddlers and aged them up asap, but that and height sliders would be great to have, I've always wanted a height slider.

Actually the beta mod that is improved has perfectly normal bodies. The only downside is that you need to type in a command. Example: Add_slider Height 48. The range goes from 150 to -150, and it works on all sims. I have really enjoyed using it as I have always used a height slider mod. If you remember Maxis has never done height, it always has to be a mod. The only place the animations are slightly off is when they kiss, and only if you make the heights differences extreme.

Chill out, no one is forcing you to get this. It doesn't take an entire day to make those things, EA is focusing on smaller things

They're getting to it. You know, they probably have two teams. One team that works on bigger expansion packs, and another team that works on stuff packs. Since stuff packs have much less work required, they get those out faster, just so the fans aren't dying and they have new stuff to interact with. They're getting to it. Do you think that just because they make this pack means they're ignoring all of the other packs entirely? Give them a break. Would you rather wait four months for one expansion pack, or would you want to wait five months for an expansion pack with multiple other game and stuff packs in the meanwhile?

People are like "I'm waiting for season or pets" but they don't even know that maybe there gonna be 2 or 3 other expansions packs before season or pets
EA said that now on it's one EP each year so the next one around the same time next year and the next one in 2 years, so people can keep dreaming, but they won't have pets and seasons until at LEAST 2 years, cause if they are not the next one then add a year or more, it could be years before they get it IF they even get it.

If we get any of those at all. Generations of sims games only last 4-6 years. It was 4 years from the sims to the sims 2. 5 years between sims 2 and 3 and then 6 years between sims 3 and 4. Though they are announced months and months before. It's already been 2 years. If the one EP per year thing is true then I highly doubt we would get seasons, pets, toddlers, etc as we only have 2-4 EPs left. As we have seen over these 2 years, EA wants to be different from the other generations and try new stuff that people have been asking for over the years. I think people think EA isn't listening but I think they are. There is a lot of stuff people have been asking for that we've gotten with TS4. TS3 paralleled so many of the Sims 2 EPs. In reality, there have been no parallels (dine out/gtw and open for business arguably) I'm a becoming a believer we won't get any of this stuff. It's not that I don't want it, I just think its becoming more and more unlikely as time passes.

I just love how gender neutral and sexuality positive Sims 4 is. I mean, they show a guy put on makeup without hesitation or being scared that someone will go homophobic/transphobic/asshole on their ass. The update giving us the option to make masculine women and femine men (meaning giving us the opportunity to make transsexual sims) and so on is also such a huge step forward. Bravo, Sims 4, if nothing else, you can at least say you're one of the most forward games about life simulation :D

How about more interactions inbetween sims and less fancy objects? It feels like my sims are doing the same things over and over on their own. Go on a hike while camping? Let me leave everyone behind and go alone! Dance together? Let's not even touch! I miss a lot of family interactions, like dinners, baby showers or a reunion to present a new baby to the family, and get the sims to actually react to it, rather than just being there watching tv or dancing. They promoted the sims 4 in a way that it was all about sims interactions, and that is not what we got.

All of the items and clothes and hairs etc look really great EA, you're doing a good job with designing items and worlds (San myshuno looks amazing!) but the sims 4 is still lacking gameplay! The game looks super pretty but there's nothing to do when you actually start playing.
