These questions recalled the 1st question of the 1st test in our point set topology class many years ago: list all possible topologies for a set of 3 elements (say X={a,b,c}). The given answer spanned a full page (a website said there are 29).

The concept of topology is so similar to sigma-algebra? I'm new to these, anyone can clarify it?
