The time spent making these cars that people will never drive, would be much better spent remodelling the reused forza motorsport 1-3 models.

Forza Horizon 5 has aged like milk. how easy it is to progress through the game and it's end-game content feel more like a chore than actually doing something fun. and along with PG Games & Turn 10 wanting to add more EV's into their games is just lacklustre.
I still majorly enjoy the game for the fact that I enjoy the handling of the cars and only drive a handful of them I'd like to own in real life. But I never understood whats happening with the story,missions, or anything to do with seasons.

I think the problem with the end-game content in this compared to FH4 is that the festival playlist is not rewarding apart from the season/series rewards for overall pts. In FH4 you could do trial or championship and get a hard-to-find car but in FH5 you can only get it thru overall pts. Fuels FOMO too knowing that none of these cars will be in the auction house thanks to how scarce cars are now

@JustyDays agreed, Playground get paid, but i highly doubt anyone is more inclined to buy an ID4 - or any of the other bland cars they're adding regularly - because they saw it in Forza Horizon.
honestly i dont mind electrics and suvs being added to horizon, there are like 800 other cars in the game to try out before these, i believe every new car they add is something good regardless of the car, i want forza to be a car library where i can go there and just drive random cars, i never mod the cars as well i only mod the ones that i really like and keep the rest stock to keep their original experience

After playing the game for 6 months and collecting 700 I simply quit, because these weekly events started feeling like a job. I’m not interested in collecting cars for years, they should just release the next game, because I’m not buying these car packs anytime soon.

The latest season and dlc has brought some actually cool cars in to the series (the 500e and hammer wagon stand out to me) but we're constantly getting all the EV/SUV rubbish and I just can't see why. Couple that with the fact that the map in fh5 is in my opinion is THE worst one we have had in a horizon game and it really makes me wonder if they actually want to make a game for people to enjoy, or if it is all just a money grab

there are so many highly requested cars that still aren't in the game probably due to licensing costs, the new gt3 rs probably being the most obvious one, and when we do get a cool requested car like the cayman 4rs or the 296 gtb its in a paid car pack

I like quirky cars in racing games, but I have to agree with you, I feel like manufacturers are pushing those cars, the I.D. R for example is in every racing game apart from NFS, and I think it's an attempt by Volkswagen to make the I.D brand look cool.

i have somewhat stopped playing fh5 and racing games in general for reasons that theo exactly said. my problem with them is not with the fact that they are not included with the platinum or deluxe version or whatever, but with the fact that most cars aren't even good. like my s2 class f40c will be miles better than any of these even when maxxed

Is it bad that I want a minivan in the game that I can turn into a sleeper car. A dodge caravan or a Toyota Sienna. And maybe even a Prius, (I want to make them just way to overpowered) also they need to start adding cars from British top gear like Jeramy’s Citroen tower RV. And maybe Hammonds Volkswagen boat. Those cars are iconic and I just love that show and would love to see it represented in Forza.

Forza lost its way a long time ago and its very rare i even play the game anymore. Back in the day when i was only a PlayStation user i begged my parents to buy me an Xbox just so i could play Forza Motorsport 3 on it because I was genuinely blown away how amazing that game was and how much i preferred it to Gran Turismo. These days I find myself wanting to buy a PS5 just for GT7. I never go on Horizon and still not even bought FM8 yet. There's nothing at all bringing me back to Horizon. I remember when Horizon was announced it was all about "action racing", a genuinely exciting game which allowed us to live out our dreams of a proper car festival and rally like Gumball 3000 etc. Bring back the days when racing cars were barely included as it wasn't realistic to have racing cars on the roads - Playground Games' own words, and genuinely desirable and exciting cars we all wanted to drive. Oh and a proper festival and story. ✌️

Yeah, all the new ones that don't have the drift transmission suck eggs. They're just too heavy and dog slow. They don't even handle. There's only 1 EV that worked, and it was the VW ID.R. Because it was actually meant for racing. Not commuting.
@@kaffielekobold8695 yes I remember it fondly. The only EVs that work in fh5 rn are the nio ep9 because of it's borked grip levels, rimac C2 because of power build and we are not talking about the tacheon or the jaguar ipace because how the Devs borked the drift trans mission on them.

@@kaffielekobold8695 with how the pi system works, the EVs have waaay too much torque for any other space for upgrades. The single gearing also kills the top speed.

Turn 10 and Playground Games really need to overhaul their entire car list. Putting more SUVs/Crossovers in the game without focusing on variety is similar to when the Gran Turismo series at one point had hundreds of Skylines and Miatas in the car list. Thankfully Polyphony has overhauled their car list and has more variety from the Toyota Alphard minivan to the Le Mans prototype race cars.
More variety... There hasn't been a new racecar for 6+ months

look, as much shit as it gets, the santana was the sole reason for me to have bought into this craze. it's so damn rare to see any remotely brazilian car anywere that i had to buy it. never touched the other cars, and i have lost dozens of hours just doing time trials with it and having a blast. as much as i like the amg hammer estate, i can wait for a discount for that pack if it comes. the others... eh, someday i'll may get if they come over 50% discount, too much of a nothingburgers on them.

y would people want to drive a car weighing the same as 2 raptors stacked on top of each other, and have speed limiters of less then 140mph, like when they added the electric cars to gt7 and had 1 of them caped at 120mph and i couldnt even win a race ver un-upgraded cars from the 80s because once i hi a straight they were gone
The comment about getting cars people actually care about is funny because even if Forza did add them a lot of them are supercars and hypercars that will be flavor of the weekend when they release and they'll be forgotten almost immediately too. Other requested cars like the Chevy and the Toyota Altezza won't really spark much interest because they'll probably just be more Tsuru clones at best (the Volkswagen Santana that was just added was also a Tsuru clone and no one gave a damn about it). Other requested cars like older gen and the newest gen Mustangs will also just become filler for the car count. Yes, no one really gives a shit about cars like the ID4 but it's not like getting cars people actually request will magically make the game better or whatever. We just got the Valkyrie AMR Pro and it came and went extremely quickly because the car is shit in Horizon, and it was a highly requested car. If any, what should happen is Playground Games should just stop adding "new content" after two years, let the game die and then release the new Horizon game eventually when people will maybe be hyped about it instead of being tired of the previous game being stretched out and milked as long as possible. The Car Pass only lasts a couple of months and there's only two expansions anyways, I'd rather PG pull the plug on the two year mark than continue getting content and cars people request after the game has been up for 3 years
I get the wanting to add less cool cars in the name of having a high horse economy cars that I can rwd swap for drifting but my mind thinks of something like the 07 impala ss where it was a 5.3 v8 to the front wheels would’ve fun and it would be cool if they added more cars we see on a day got day basis much rather than some dumb electric cars
