A trip to Norfolk to get Bob’s fuel injected 1969 E Type in for a run on the rolling road. (This is probably one of the most advanced rolling roads in the country, and previously formed part of the now defunct Internal Engine Development facility at Jaguar Land Rover.)
The engine developed 225bhp and 285 ft/lb of torque. Most impressive though was the improvement in fuel economy, we averaged 16.5mpg on the 200 mile trip to Norfolk which increased to 23mpg on the run home to North Yorkshire.
The car goes well , as for the driver judgment is reserved
they mapped my supercharged MX5 with the Emerald ECU there. Top blokes, top facility
Bob, you did well not to scream when the overtaking manoeuvre occurred. Oh, and I did notice you drove straight past that brewery in Helmsley 🙄😀
I can tell you that at 21 my Vauxhall viva definitely wasn't a babe magnet😂
