Authorities in Mexico are reporting three bodies have been found in an area where two Australian brothers and an American went missing.
The brothers were on a surf trip in the Baja California region when they went missing on April 27.
Three people have been arrested in connection to their disappearance.
The parents of Perth brothers Callum and Jake Robinson are travelling to Mexico.
A burnt-out ute believed to have been used by the brothers was found after the pair failed to check into an Airbnb.

    • Number 1 rule of being a tourist. Don't act tough and don't harass the women. You don't know who is who and who's the father of a woman you try to pick up in a harrasing manner. Even hookers have Mexican men protecting them. They definitely disrespected someone.

Mexico is one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited, but I highly recommend staying away from the border areas because, like many other countries, they are not safe. I have been visiting Mexico many times, mainly Mexico City and Tlaxcala, and I have found them to be the safest places. The closer you are to the capital, the safer it is, and you'll encounter highly cultural people there. I believe the government spends money on security in these areas

    • 2015, and it was two Australian dudes, AGAIN! Not sure how those guys were behaving down there, but typically, Australians are frowned upon as guests due to their excessive drinking, swearing, and feral behavior. I never realized that Australians were looked at as bothersome until a recent trip to Bali and Singapore. The locals were not having the Australians one bit. I thought Americans were looked upon as the worst tourists. But, I quickly found out that is not the case. Not victim blaming at all, but it was very foolish and dangerous for them to be where they were. Nobody is safe close to the border. I read that they were approached by three people, two men and one woman. One man told them that they were gonna take their truck. They said no and that man shot all three of them. They then traveled about 30 miles in that truck and dumped the bodies. The truck was found burned out . Makes no sense. Why would they burn the truck and abandon it if they had just killed three men for it. I understand that there were four men found in that hole. Wonder who the fourth man was?

  • The police found 4 bodies on the site. One of them was a Mexican person but none mention that because probably the Australians and the USA guy killed the Mexican. For sure the locals came back to get revenge. It’s true that in Mx the people can be very dangerous in some places if you are disrespectful. What I know for sure is that Australians 80% of the time are very disrespectful with non white people. Then when arriving at Mx decided to go to a remote area (first mistake). Surely locals arrived there, then the Australians decided to show their common disrespect for non white people and the Mxs decided what is common in remotes areas, which is to start a fight, then the Australians tried to behave like they do in any pub in Melbourne when they get drunk and the Mxs released what is common to use here by Mxs in the north of the country which is bullets a huge number of locals and big guns.

    • Australia is an over-regulated nanny state and a very expensive country to live in. That’s the main reason why I travel overseas these days.

    • ‘Normal’ people don’t. They’ll find out how they died and that will point to the type of people that killed them.

  • Why would anyone go there? It's commonly known not be safe at all in these South American countries. A woman was used to lure the men and then they were robbed. Very common practice there.

  • Two boys went missing in mexico in 2015 from Australia. They were robbed, then shot. Think they were trying to buy weed. Then it happens again, less than 10 years later. Mexico was never on my bucket list, not when I live in Australia. Great selling point for Australian tourists. Go to mexico and you probably won't make it back...

  • Awe. I’m so very sorry to hear this News. I feel so bad for their families. We live in such a dangerous world these last 4 years 5 years it seems much more dangerous & crime ridden. Especially here in America I know. I live in Arizona not far from the border and little girls can’t even play outside anymore bcz two little girls one 11 one 15 were raped by men who came illegally across our border. They come here & rob us rape our women & CHILDREN they are not coming here with good intentions to build a better life. They are coming as invaders to rob rape steal assault. That’s what I see happening. My aunt has one rental property & squatters got in it & she couldnt get them out it was 4 grown men in their 30 s. She couldn’t get in the house they had the door barred it took her 5 months to get them out & we were told that was almost a miracle I have heard in some cases it takes much longer. In the meantime she lost the tenants that were going to move in. She had to return their deposit & she lost actually 6 months of rent plus court costs & a few for a lawyer. Now she is behind on her mortgage almost 2 months behind bcz she isn’t a rich woman the rental house supplements her retirement income & the house pays for itself that way so she can leave more to her kids when she passes she makes a profit of just a few hundred a month from the house. So these squatters. I mean. If this happens again to her she will get foreclosed on. Her son now put a twin mattress on the floor & he has a shotgun & he is staying there until the new renters Move in on first of next month. Very sad that in America you have to do this or someone will take your house & to get it back it will cost you thousands & thousands !! Ridiculous. What has happened to the laws in this country !!!!????
