After a afternoon of drinking coffee and reading a fine translation of corpus hermeticum, somewhere in a peaceful communal garden, I returned home with a feeling of satisfaction. Arriving in my street I observed a beautiful lady accompanied by barefooted bearded man . Both their faces radiated some sort of calmness and equanimity. They did not seek eye contact but the man his t-shirt had an inscription of "Om" which catched my attention. The mystical syllable inspired me to practice meditation and chanting more often. Few hours later, youtube's algorithm suggests this album and then I understood the t-shirt was one of the band I was going to discover. The couple has had to be messengers sent by psychrock gods.

i remember seeing OM open for GYBE in San Francisco... OM opened with "Gethsemane", i swear i could of died that moment. the bass permeated the entire building, the atmosphere was otherworldly as a thousand of us stood completely hypnotize. As red lights leaked down the red Victorian drapes, and simple spotlights on the musicians with smoke lofting as if almost the music took physical form. i will never forget that night. OM played a 4 song set that lasted close to over an hour, Godspeed played a 6 song set that lasted 2 and a half hours. Mr. Cisneros thank you sir.

This album will never annoy me. Even during the periods in which I am not feel of metal music, this band and, especially, this album, relaxs me bringing me to a far, mystic and stoned dimension. Obviously not satanist, but for me associating Hindu with Christianism is provoking in some way. I'm muslim, I respect other religion (even if I consider they are wrong but I got no hate). The fact that most of the spiritualism people find in Hindu mantras to meditate is kinda sadening me because they never listened to someone reading the Quran. What i want to say is that most of the messages you can find in hindu and budhism religion are also in islam, you just remove the millions of "gods" from it and some dangerous rituals (like this one in shintoism where the monk burry himself alive in hope to get self-momified). For example, everything is "alive" in some way because at the apocalypse, everything will report to God everything you did. The little stone you shoot, the tree who gave you shade, the grass you stomped while laying on the ground, the sand, the spiders, cats, ... So the animist religions are kinda right but they consider this little things like gods but in fact there's only one God above everything and he created everything. Maybe the hindu "gods" exist, but they are no gods and have no powers. But still I like the album, even if I consider it like a provocation against main religions the harmonie is nice.

The following ( anēkāntavāda) is on of the basic principles of Jainism ,a religion that has its origins in ancient India. Anekāntavāda emphasizes the principles of pluralism (multiplicity of viewpoints) and to the notion that truth and reality are perceived differently from diverse points of view, no single one of which is complete. Jains illustrate this theory through the parable of the blind men and an elephant. In this story, each blind man feels a different part of an elephant: its trunk, leg, ear, and so on. All of them claim to understand and explain the true appearance of the elephant but, due to their limited perspectives, can only partly succeed. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jainism

Very good album. The drumming is great, really appreciate the natural production which really contrasts with the over-compressed drums we hear everywhere nowadays and make humans sound like drum machines.
I've never thought compression made another humans voice sound like a drum machine, but that's not saying it can't be done. A trained master in the art of signal flow could make it happen. Likely within ten minutes given the right tools.

@@paulbrunel5207 I never did, but maybe I should ! Thanks Paul !
@@GuroItuyoshi All religions fundamentally have one God, they just don't always use the word 'God". In Hinduism "Brahman" is the ultimate principle of all of reality.
Of course not because most ppl are brainwashed fkwits like you!! Holy ballz, ur in for a massive shock...
they have this peculiar way of building and layering and feeling as if they are just about to really let it all out and yet they seem to never really get there. Somehow reigning it in and keeping it together for the sake of Christ.

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
That light is the divine light of consciousness (God).
This is the most incredible and different band I've discovered in at least two years. I loved it
Saw OM play a show in NYC on 10/05/14....hypnotic, beautiful, heavy, and just fucking amazing....
i missed them yesterday because i was too tired to go... definite regret. especially since i missed them last time because we got drunk and waited to long to get in line. the guy before us in line was the last one to get in.... :/
The bass line at the end of Gethsemane is my favorite part of this album.
Agree
Dude you have no idea, it is just that freaking good i can't
Giving this album a single spin once a week and it really feels like my body has been rejuvenated in all of its senses for all eternity. Thanks, Batushka.
wait, is this by the same guys that did Batushka?
@@Draco_Alpha no
What's this got to do with Batushka?
@@poetsrear it's a joke referring to the fact the album cover for this and Litourgiya are similar
Is this a Jesus ft. Brahman mix tape?
😄😂🤣
Fuck brahma.....
This is the Jesus ft the 12 Disciples mix tape
@Aaron Devin Brahman isn't the creator, that's Brahma. Brahman is the underlying unity that permeates all existence, thus also the underlying unity between the duality of creator and creation.
What about the Land-Lord?
This is awesome! Great music
Favourite album for the past 5 years!!!!
One of my fave albums. Long live OM. Excited to see what they do next.
I'm not even stoned, but I can feel the fat bong rips through the music. Jesus, man...
This is one of those albums that you can't help but let the music move your body in a tantric dance with spirit.

This album is a masterpiece.
What is this Jesus knows the sound of my heart and how to channel it ??? . … wow I should go to church this Sunday
It not only sounds very good, it also looks very interesting on an oscilloscope!
One of the best albums I've ever heard. Amazing unique sound!
No idea why this just randomly popped up on KZhead, but well glad it did.
Chernobyl Coleslaw : Hello. This music came to you the way it did to me: by Divine hands. NOTHING but theories point to any discernible plan of existence and the universe. But every time I want to wallow in nihilism if I hear the music of other searchers it gives me hope and I listen and go on. We are not alone; no, we are not, despite the clamor. Blessings to you and all who read this post and/or listen to this music. "It's all meat from the same bone." Eric Burdon from the San Francisco Nights LP.
Amazing album. A true masterpiece. 2 years I listen to it every single day while I drawing..
another spontaneous find! the art cover intrigued me which usually means im going to hear something unusual, damn right!
Ecstatic experience! Truly an authentic piece of music!
el año pasado (2015) descubrí a este bandon y desde entonces no pudo parar de eskucharlos, gracias por su arte.
Ευχαριστω Σακη που μου εμαθες αυτην την στονερια ο Θεος να σε εχει καλα!
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: 12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. 13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah? 1 Kings 19:11-13

Complexity; spirituality, both combined result a masterpiece. I just love using it as a main tool for meditating. Both mantras in the first song are just breath taking. Can't stop listening to this album.
This stuff is awesome. Thank you for making!

+padomima That's fascinating, thank you for sharing.
A very freeing Philosophy of existence. No room for emotional connotation.
What an insightful comment, thank you

A journey into the most total unconscious. Wonderful album. ✨
Gee, someone find a Holywood director qualified and inspired enough to make a psycho-realistic-dramatic film about St. Anthony of Egypt facing the demons in the Desert to the sound of this soundtrack!
Forget "Hollywood". Alejandro Jodorowsky would make a beautiful piece of cinema set to this album, in my opinion.
I'm stealing for a D&D one-shot and you can't stop me
I can tell Sr Cisneros has spent extensive amounts of hours in temple settings. Impressive. Digging the genuine humility and gratitude permeating from these musical interludes. Stay High
I remember listening to this genius album on you tube when it had 10,000 views. Justice did prevail in this case. Gives one hope.
