I'd like to point out Gordon stood up for the dab and got ignored lmao.
Rofl true
So where exactly did you see Gordon, lol?
@@loveistheonlything3626is that not him at 3:17
He is just so… so explosive 😂❤❤
Amazing stuff brother
People don't get that 8 months of genuine wars in training everyday when you are so genetically and athletically gifted is going to do very different things compared to an average person rolling a couple hours a day for 8 months lol
And years of wrestling one might add 😅
8month jits and lifetime of wrestling
wrestled in college, division 3, average wrestler and trained for around 2 years
Pretty insane
You forgot the mention the decade of folkstyle/collegiate wrestling...
Classic
Nicky Rod only wrestled for 8 years.
@@ByronC900 "only" 8 years is a lot
he was shit at wrestling tho.
Crazy how much the heavyweight division has progressed in such a short amount of time
Respect to Big J 👊😤😎🤗
He trains his whole fuckin life
With Gordon practicly in retirement i dont see anyone stopping N Rod, Craig could be no1 but he just doesnt give a F. He knows he is the top G that seems to be enough for him
He could make Gordon face him again if he wins ADCC
@@errgo2713 Ryan is done, he made a video about retiring
Unfortunately Kaynan has Craig’s number. Our guy will always be #2
It’s not about the 8 months of bjj, he was a wrestler!
looks like he works at a gas station changing oil
loll gordon stood up to shake his hands, dude just didn't pay attention lmao
flo, this is your guy. he is exciting, funny and entertaining... Gordon isn't any of those things.
Given that ADCC has a wrestling dominant rule set. Nicky had a huge advantage against anyone with his elite wrestling background. He's been grappling in some capacity, more athletically, for over a decade. In fact, probably since he was 4.
I wouldn’t say he had a huge advantage over his competitors bc of his wrestling .. His wrestling background isn’t that elite, it got him there but its not an advantage considering everyone he competed against were black belts who had competed at adcc before and trained majority of their lives as well.
There's nothing "wrestling dominant" about a ruleset that attracts buttscooters because it has no points for the first half and no pins
Insane. If you'd concentrate less on Gordon you'll be CHAMP!
Grapplers that Start in Jiu Jitsu No-Gi will always be a little crappier than Wrestlers that are taught at a very Young age to always do explosive movements n go Hard AF like Nicky Rod. Hes don't t do Gi cause the Gi will slow n Sap his energy level hella fast. Plus remember he went from Wrealting to a high level gym that goes hella hard not some Hobbiest gym that frowns on white belts going crazy n hurting some 40ish(like me) who have jobs. For one i like seeing Nicky Rod Compete n love watching ADCC. The wrestlers make it so much more fun. Remi ds me of Jiu Jitsu schools in California fro. 20yrs ago when everyone in the gym wanted to be a cage fighter 🫡
If you win a adcc trial are you every year automatically in ?
No you need to win it every time again
If you podium in actual ADCC you get invited again. If you don't then you have to win trials again.
El bocachanclas
Figure in wrestling training with that math
Butt rod has some serious Brendan Schaub vibes
Wonder how hed do against ppl with same collegiate wrestling or better. Hes going againdt ppl with worse than high school wrestling
8 months of training? Try 8 years of wrestling
Gordon got aired lol
Hmm, ever heard of beginners luck! Good Jujitsu shouldn't be about who is physically superior.
"how dare someone with less jj experience than me legitimately submit me in competition!"
@@errgo2713 Exactly
That wasn't luck.
Nothing "beginner" about wrestling for 8 years before even touching jiu-jitsu
