Bro you didn't pin this comment fyi, I assume you meant to.
Fidel Castro wasn’t really a ruthless dictator, so much as framed that way by the US and every capitalist nation in the world. Either way, this is a nice obituary for a franchise Microsoft will surely murder. So much nostalgia for the early COD games (these are early for me), the market already feels a little over saturated nowadays, but these were fantastic and unique in their time. Thanks!
Keegan was the shit in this game. He just had the most swag. Im 100% certain they wanted him to be Simon Riley but couldnt get him for obvious reasons. I aint even mad about it tho
KEEGAN P RUSS= BEST CHARACTER. Another reason we need a sequel is so we can see more of him 🎉
Ghosts is far from perfect but it will always hold a special place in my heart. It's no coincidence that even the new trilogy pays tribute to some of the cool moments in there. Also, the new perk system, Extinction, the Michael Myers and Predator maps... all awesome
it was a different COD, and looking back now it was pretty decent. I’d rather have a Ghosts sequel than a infinite warfare sequel or something like that
@@ketomine. I would pay good money for an Infinite Warfare sequel, but only as a fully single-player game, as that was the best aspect of the game and clearly the one devs had the most passion for
@@glibchubik4090rip E3N
@@glibchubik4090 I wouldn't want an Infinite Warfare sequel. Not because it was a bad campaign but because I feel like it wrapped up the story already

This game needs a sequel
Only if its written better. The story for this was pretty mid. And the new MWs are honestly written worse
@@droids75mw2019 was pretty good but mw2 campaign was mid outside of alejandro

It would be if the story and game were a bit better. I did enjoy the game’s campaign for what it was but I know it could be better. It’s just the hate this game got was understandable but also a bit too much at the same time.
Yes
I'm sorry but did you really not talk about the MASSIVE CLIFFHANGER OF AN ENDING?! That thing made me want a second ghosts!
Nobody should talk about it. No significance, cause nothing happened afterwards. He survived stuff he never could have, probably just the main character having a fever dream. Ghosts ends at the beach, watching odin ripping everything to shreds.
The extinction mode was really fun and unique. I remember I’d go over to my cousins house and play the free level over and over again. I hope it makes an appearance in other cod games as it had interesting lore, enemies and was unique to the zombies.
Idk if you know this but in Infinite Warfare DLC 4, you actually get to fight the extinction monsters again at some point.
Yea I wish we had Extinction back also it was so fun I loved the map where you start on the big ship and fight the kraken like boss
Me and my cousin did the exact same thing, I used to take the game disc to his house and we’d play it together over and iver
Try and play Extinction on console. It’s too grindy and boring. PC is better
@@hachelyd_i3232kap
Rorke is perhaps my favorite villain in cod. Makarov may have the fear and terror, Irons the tech, the frozen forest the frozen forest. But it’s the fact that Rorke wears nothing no tactical gear he doesn’t hide, he seems to have a deep drive to see you succeed many times he could’ve ended you but he chooses not to. Often he himself pushes you to try and defeat him, it’s interesting. A man who’s so lost he doesn’t care and sees you as a replacement
which is why at the end of it all Rorke still wins and drags you off to make into the next him so a sequel would've been so epic to see perhaps even having us have to kill this games protagonist
The fact you didn't mention Menendez 🤦
I hate to hear people complain so much about ghost, mainly because its a game i love. I don't really play games for the multiplayer experience, but the single player lore experience, and Ghosts had one of the better campaigns. It left me hoping for a second ghost game one day, and continue the story.
99 percent of the complaints were because ghosts MP was dogshit
Another great thing in the first cutscene is that, besides the black and white bullets, because the story is being told by Elias and the cutscene reflects it. The American soldiers are shown as people, because Elias knew them and had a connection with them. The enemies on the other hand, are shown as black blocks barely resembling a human.
one of the things i really appreciate is that the after crash stealth level is one of the only times in COD at that point where the mission is possible to go fully undetected basically every previous stealth mission makes you go loud at some point or just forces the enemies to find you so its cool that you can go full ninja if you do it right
CoD Ghost holds a special place in my memory as a kid playing these campaigns with my dad. From Gears of War to Halo, we would play campaigns when they came out and talk about them together. Making little theories and wondering if they would continue. I remember playing Ghost and having an absolute blast, so absorbed into the story even if it isnt the best by mosts standards (mine included). But i saw the potential for it to be a series like MW but it lost its way because of everyhting around it. I would love to know what happened to the brothers and there was a lot of potential. Glad you made a video, even with its harsh truths. I like to come back to this campaign and enjoy the fun gameplay from it and the story beats. Hopefully some will pick it up if they havent and have a blast just like i do :)
I love the story bc it was good I just loved the way the ghosts operated I always loved the masks
This is honestly one of the best cods ever I hate people who say it’s crap just because it’s not mw or black ops
It’s not one of the best but it’s not bad
It’s not better than Cod 4, World at War, Modern Warfare 2, Black ops 1 or 2

Ghosts is trash, sorry. Ugly graphics, bad maps, terrible weapon balance, and weak, uninteresting streaks. The DLC field orders should’ve been streaks like the Y-8 Gunship. Super disappointing game
The pick 10 system is WORSE than BO2 and the perk system is the only good thing other than the alright Campaign. Extinction was too grindy too.
seems like a you issue, ngl. Sometimes people dont care about the graphics, or the maps, they care about the story. And, imo, ghosts has one of the best campaigns in the series. @@hachelyd_i3232

Yes please. WFC and FOC are the best games of the transformers ip and they are good games besides just good transformers games. Hopefully Xbox puts them on game pass like the leaks are saying
As somebody who played the competitive multiplayer for that I feel like no one can go through how great that game was featuring the servers have been shut down for years

@@marbl3d45 it was one incorrect letter that I missed chill out
I know a lot of people don't like it but personally I LOVED the extinction "zombies" mode they added. Really changed up how the survival from endless enemies work. I just really wish they continued this game series.
19:03 With most military working dogs, they actually out rank there handler(to prevent miss treatment) so saving Riley isn't just saving the good boy, but also saving your superior.
Campaign? An amazing new twist and story, Extinction? Fantastic and fun zombies alternative. Multiplayer? Bad but the killstreaks were pretty cool and and the special map changers were awesome. An amazing game that is overshadowed by hate simply because it's mulitplayer was bad. Also the badass Eminen song to come out of it
I loved the story and lore. Thought it was a nice twist to the red dawn type story.
Multiplayer is what keeps players playing for years on end, not a CoD Campaign. Extinction is nowhere the level of zombies and it’s too grindy. Halo missions have more replayability with good enemy variety and skull modifiers.
@@hachelyd_i3232 Extinction you actually had a goal you had to achieve and the classes you had as well as the optional objectives you could do to get upgrade points to upgrade you character made it so it wasn't the same old "Kill zombie, buy gun, kill zombie, buy perk, find power, kill zombie, pack gun, kill zombie.
One of the most underrated COD's. The perk system was amazing.
Honestly with cod ghost i loved it, it was and still is my favorite cod. I spent a lot of time playing this game with my friend. Sometimes i just want those times to return.
This was my first COD and I’m actually glad you talked about it.

The best cods are almost always your first cod’s. Cod 4 and WaW and MW2 (cod 6) will always be the best for me and so so hard to beat but I’m well aware that it probably mostly down to nostalgia ❤
Feel bad for you bro. CoD Ghosts is the worse CoD right next to AW and Vanguard. Even infinite Warfare is better. There’s too much bad stuff about this game
@@hachelyd_i3232Please cry more
Ghost also had some of the best weapon animations in terms of realism and only re-used one animation (for the remington) which I find pretty neat
The MR-28 reused the animation from SCAR
@@flame_101 Forgot about that, good point.
Don’t forget the M-14 and LSAT. CoD Ghosts is the worst
Bro did this game dirty. Talked about how there was nothing in the second half of the game while ignoring the single most important story element in the entire game that happened at the end. Also, he talked about all the different levels and their design, then topped it off with "Meh." Like, my guy, this campaign had some of the most varied levels I've ever seen, and made you feel like an absolute force of nature by its conclusion. Those stealth missions were top notch. Saving grace for this review is that he loved the bestest boy, Riley. Not even touching the multiplayer, which was easily my favorite of the entire series, though I know a lot of people didn't like it, this campaign had less of a story than the OG Modern Warfare series, but absolutely made up for it in gameplay and level design. Plus, the end was a setup for a sequel that could be an absolute banger if done well. This was still the era of the silent COD protagonist, but it was very clear for the first time when playing this campaign that this protagonist needed a voice. This was a much more personal story and needed the personal touch and emotions from the main character. This game needs a sequel and they need to give Logan a voice. Also, Riley needs to be in the game again.
Such a fun game ..and that cliffhanger ending! We, the players demand justice in the form of a proper sequel or sequels!!
Fun fact about the ending, you can spin around 180 to face tbe opposite wall, and fire the gun, it will very quickly spin you back around to shoot him in the chest
This makes me want to replay the campaign. I loved it so much, the whole game really. This was the first cod campaign I played where I really cared and was able to understand the game’s story completely. I absolutely loved it, same with the multiplayer.
Something I appreciate about this channel is that games that have a lot of flaws and not a lot of love he’s like “I don’t care, this is still cool”. Thank you I appreciate it.
12:39 With all it's flaws I love COD Ghost. But when I play this scenario the first time and being a venezuelan myself I couldn't stop laughing, specially with the Dam part xd It's like so surreal for me
I loved ghosts campaign it set up a sequel but im sad it never got one
One of my favorite cod campaigns! They could’ve done so much with the Walker family had there been a sequel! Thank you for this video🙏🏾
i have been WAITING for this one!! ghosts is a game that i played when i was younger, and thus didn’t understand that it was a game that i wasn’t supposed to enjoy. the missions are solid, the ghosts themselves are all great (you’ve got the voice actors of reyes from IW and TOMMY MILLER from tlou!), the ending is good and still makes me long for a sequel 10 years later. it definitely didn’t deserve the pure hatred that it received, there are a plethora of other COD games that deserve the backlash more than this one.
This was the first game I played on PS4 and while I wasn't crazy about it, I did like the Dam mission, the final Train mission and of course Riley. I do wish the game was a prequel story about Ghost from MW2 though!
This was the first COD game i ever played and will forever be my absolute favorite. I loved it so much and i will never forget playing the multiplayer or survival modes with my best friend when we were younger. I miss it. Very disappointed it never got a sequel, one can wish tho
one of my fav cods OAT. granted i didn’t play all of the cods growing up. but next to mw3 and bo2, it holds a special spot in my heart
Ghosts was hated on, but I remember getting that game a couple months after boot camp and playing with my buddy in the barracks before going home for Christmas leave. We played all night until it was time to go to the airport. I know it wasn’t great as a game, but as a memory…
Infinity Ward is always the best with campaigns! Using the Helo Pilot and Loki. And an actually interesting enemy with the Federation! And if you actually listen to the intel, Rorke is just a pawn of the guy who actually runs the federation, and it’s by his orders that your MC is to be taken alive for switching sides.
One of my favourites. Only played it once like 7 years ago but I remember it more fondly than the others. I should buy a copy
As someome that plays CoD mainly for the stories, thank you for crediting the campaigns, as they are often dismissed or given little thought, or at least that's the perveying feeling. And I always thought, despite being one of many mute protagonists, Logan was very well characterized, he'd follow David to the ends of the earth, and if the sequel had happened, I know his love for David would've broken whatever conditioning Rorke put him through. Great video, thank you for covering Ghosts
this was always one of my favorite cods for some reason
Always love your videos! A quick thing, 'new engine' is always a buzzword in game marketing but it means very, very little. A new engine (in theory) means it can handle more effects. It doesn't add anything, it just relaxes the restrictions on the devs. The slide introduced in Ghosts is completely possible in the old engine. It was just a new idea, I would expect to make the movement feel a little more advanced than it's predecessors.
This campaign was actually rlly well done, shame it got alot of hate. Ik mp may have been a miss but campaign was solid, wouldn’t mind a ghost 2
Let's GO GHOSTS IS AWESOME AND UNDERRATED. Man. This game was good
I loved Ghosts. Maybe it's coz I'm always a couple years behind every franchise
INFINITE WARFARE NEXT! Without a doubt, the *best* and most underappreciated CoD campaign.
Another game series that would be really cool to see are the yakuza games the story in the games are about 20-25 hours long and they are just so badass (and don’t forget the karaoke)
this was one of my first COD games, i couldn’t give a crap about the story, but the missions were fun and entertaining, thats all i could give a crap about, a ton of variety really made it fun for me
This game is GOD TIER anyone who disagrees can piss right off
I would say the Campaign is GOD TIER, but the multiplayer and extinction modes are, in my opinion, bad, but this game has an almost perfect campaign.

“Dammit! I could think of some clone troopers who would be mad right now.” Underrated line
I deffo have first COD game pre order bias, but this was the first COD I played for the entire year along with all my friends, so deserving of a sequel and the fact we have had about 6 different Black Ops and MW games since this came out pains me. We deserve a Ghosts 2.
we don’t need a ghosts 2
@@marbl3d45 ghosts 2 doesn’t deserve you.
it is a bit saddening despite me liking MW 2019 and Cold War, because it may be a bit before COD devs try anything new because the things they made that were new didn't do well critcally, and suffer from being released at the wrong time, at least, Ghosts and Infinite Warfare, even if the quality wasn't the best for Ghosts

Finally someone who also enjoyed the perk system. Much more freedom and therefore i was more confuzzled on what to take and i loved it
This was my first COD game and it’s special to me. It was mine blowing for me. It pretty much had all the kinds of missions I could ask for lol. I’m glad I’m not the only one who loves this game. Not saying it the best but my opinion and my favorite.
Thank you for covering this game
I still play extinction. That shits hella fun and unique, multiplayer is pretty cool too with the unique specs
I've always liked this game also still annoyed about never getting a conclusion to the cliffhanger
ghosts was the first cod game i played n the campain is awesome even though it kinda falls in some areas i still really love it to this day
I love seeing 3 commercials before you even broach the prologue. So fun living in an age of schills and adverts.
One of my favourite cods of all time i always remembered the first cut scenei always thought the man that got shot looked like milk. 😂😂
I love this game. My little brother and I spent hours at a time playing against each other, him with more low profile builds and myself with a more run and gun style.
Fun fact the ISS is actually "bulletproof" the hull has to be stable enough to withstand hits from micro asteroids while going 17000mph. Just for reference a Barrett 50cal has a muzzle velocity of "just" about 2000mph
I really enjoyed this game it was actually my 2nd game I got and Black OPs 1 being my first, I played the heck out of the Multiplayer in Ghosts, and it was really cool I loved the destructible environments that you can do like blowing up walls, knocking down electric pole, gas station, etc it was unique. and I honestly wish this Ghosts had a sequel if only the game didn't have too much hate. But I do definitely believe that Ghosts deserves a remake or remaster.
I actually liked this game and only appreciated it more when I revisited it
I replayed ghosts because of this video. It’s campaign and extraction mode are middle of the road but better than I remember.
First COD game I ever played. It’ll always be special in my heart.
I remember when it came out I was expecting more stealth and covert ops missions. Then again I love the classic Splinter cell and metal gear solid games.
10:05 heheh, pretty sure that's a Resident Evil 7 reference and I love it
I loved Ghost. It was fun seeing the unique missions
The opening space mission made me happy. Having a Baker save the day. Sure, I died but damned if I didn't go out like a hero.
“I’ve been looking forward to this”
“Real scans from a seal team service dog-“
This is my most played call of duty game
Hell yeah! I’ve been very pleased with the resurgence of Ghosts the past few years. It was a really good game
At 18:40 , you can prevent Elias from getting shot. You just got to really spam the shit out of your F key or square until rorke takes the gun back and hits you.
I love ghosts story and multiplayer, and thought the campaign was one of the best from that era. I’m still waiting for the sequel so I can find out what Rourke has done, I haven’t forgotten that after credits scene.
This was my fav cod for nostalgic reasons
Campaign is a lot of fun. MP is fun too
We need a sequel!
I hope you do the fable series and mass effect next
20:18 Norse Loki, unlike Marvel Loki, isn’t the son of Odin and brother to Thor, Loki is “Technically” Thor’s Uncle. In mythology Odin and Loki are blood brothers. That’s why dispite being both a Johtin, trickster, and pain in the everything he’s allowed to hang out with the other gods in Asgard.
I loved this game and I’ll die on the hill that this campaign is on par with MW and blops. Federation Day and Clockwork are THE ghost missions this games deserves a sequel.
Ghosts will always be held dearly close in my heart because it was the first COD I'd ever played and probably the only video game where I was on the edge of my seat at the end cutscene (at the time). The only reason I even got further involved with the franchise was because I had waited desperately for a sequel for years. Of course, I realize its flaws, but it was new and refreshing for an immature gamer like me.
In a German let's play (gametube) they said about this game: "Man, they're so good at storytelling, if only they had a story to tell" and that pretty much hit the nail on it's head for me. The way they present everything in this campaign is still mostly excellent, but there is just very little to work with.
how cool it is. When Simon shows up in ghosts 2 and saves the mc from Ghosts 1.
As my first CoD, I've a soft spot for it and played the campaign several times
The treaty banned WMDs in space being nuclear weapons etc, But the station just has tungsten rods, Non explosive using terminal velocity to create the power to the explosions and shit, afaik (its been a while since i looked into it) but the Us have a station like this because its a little workaround from the wmds
The weird thing for me about this game is whenever I play regular team deathmatch and get killed, the entire HUD disappears, and so whenever I die it feels like the match is over.
That Checkmate moment gave me chills
This was the first game I bought. I was so excited to play the game even if I couldn’t play Online. I loved the story and it needs a sequel cause I wanna know what happened to the other brother after Rorke put him in the same hole he was in.
I freakin love Ghosts. The color, graphics, animation, audio and improved gameplay. At least one step above MW3.
Suddenly everyone is talking about this game… I love it
Fun fact hesh's name is also an acronym for a ammo type; High Explosive Squash Head
First time playing the mission where Riley gets shot broke my heart that I restarted the checkpoint several times to attempt to take the bullet. Unfortunately you can't and it broke me.
my own little head cannon is that the "Ghosts" were inspired by our OG Ghost and thats why they adpoted the skull mask just like him
The perk system and class system in ghosts is by far in my opinion the best because there was so much you could do
1:07 even the ratio of white bullets to black bullets show how out numbered they were
I absolutely LOVE this game, it just has something to it that I hold close to my heart. But man, this CoD truly was the black sheep of the family...
"wHat aBoUt tHe cLiFf hAnGeR aT tHe eNd??" *Ghost was introduced in the game cod* *warfare remake, MW3 remake... if cod ghosts* *wasn't made, then there's no point putting* *ghost in the damn remakes.* (The real ghost died by the hands of General Shepard... which makes it more messed up.)
Fun fact that orbital war treaty that you keep talking about. It does not affect the giant tungsten rods. The only reason the countries have not done it yet is because of how expensive it would be $100,000 per pound to get an object into space
