  • All this is just ridiculous to me😂. It was a joke, not something serious, not seen as a jerk move or line from Burroughs. Cormier brought up the leg and asked Burroughs, and he jokingly said he’d just go after that leg. If anything it can be seen as a compliment to Starocci, that Burroughs doesn’t see any other way to beat him so he’s going to look at his injury. At the end of the day, it was just a comment, not something personal, not something serious, a joke

Who better to pick a fight with online to build your podcast while defending a teamate than Jordan....The most well known wrestler to all MMA Fans. This great sport struggles enough to gain more fans, and this junior high mentality of: “who said what & who is better because the other dude is not as good”, is a complete embarrassment. Bo has moved away from wrestling, but he’s passionate about his PSU wrestlers. As for Jordan…well, he’s an amazing talent, has been great for the sport, by bringing a lot of new fans around for what he’s accomplished. Put this shit to rest.

  • Not a big fan of the vision quest slander… Penn state wrestlers in general just operate in a way that makes them feel above the rest, and nickal is no exception. I understand that JB verbalizing that he would attack it isn’t the best “look”, but the best in the world compete to win and if an opponent has a weakness, you exploit it. Period. Nickal grappled with Gordon Ryan and did so with “leg locks not allowed” and still got submitted. He tried to “rule out” his weakness and still got owned. I wish him luck in his MMA career, incredible collegiate wrestler, but kindly, stfu.

Wrestling already has enough injuries, why would we want to encourage our youth to work over someone's disability. Not good for the sport...! More men have walked on the moon than are 4X NCAA D1 wrestling champions and in that moment, JB made it about him. I believe it was a classless move and if one of my children were to do the same, I would be highly disappointed. I trust that I have raised them better than that. It is unfortunate that someone who is supposed to be an ambassador of the sport doesn't hold that degree of class. Cael had/has more class than that and so do his wrestlers. You're never going to see an AJ Ferrari or A Desanto type wrestler at PSU while Cael is at the helm.
