Apollo is the only bird I've seen to make a joke and then laugh at his own joke. "What's this made of?" "..Shrek."
I still think they should look if the glass didn't contain a little bit of Shrek in it
Made of Shrek, made of Shrock, made of glask, made of corKK, made of plask.
Can someone give me the time stamp for this
@@Drawble 2:55
@@NitroMemes thanks!
Omg him practicing how to say “plastic” on his own is amazing!!
and he's only three, african greys can live to be 23 on average, he'll be a walking dictionary by then!
@@prestongarvey2599 23 is in the wild. When taken care their lifespan prolongs by 2,5 times.
@@irdorath356 fair
@@prestongarvey2599i think that’s in the wild. in captivity they live more than double that on average. (nvm some dude already told you lol)
It’s made of *_P L A C K_*
At 8:01 when you ask Apollo what he wants and he gives the tiniest, cutest little "Stash? 🥺" is so adorable it makes my heart melt!
I was looking for this comment 😅
Literally
2022: Year of the Shrock
2022 was a bad year for me in many ways, but one of the highlights was definitely being blessed by the invention of SHROCK
Next 2023 year of GLASSK

Apollo talks to “Scam Likely” and the operator actually thinking he’s human. Goes to show how good he is at words.
Everytime they realize something is up... cracks me up everytime.
Wdym?
What you don't realize is that's a trained Indian Ringneck parrot on the other end of the line, lol.
As a Discworld fan, "Scam Likely" sounds like a plausible name to me! :'D
Whenever I see the name scam likely I think about dungeon and daddies
7:52 "Step up, don't bite Apollo. Good boy, now what do you want? 🦜: "staaaash 🥺"
Not in a million years did I expect him to be able to express things like when he's curious about smth. He wanted to know what a flashlight is and asked "whats this", and "what colour is this".. My universe is collapsing in on itsself 😂
It's not that he is really curious about it and more that he learned the phrase "What's this" from his owner that constantly asks him what something is. He is conditioned by now to say that whenever something comes up
@@salbarskytower2546 I realized that soon after but its fun to imagine he's curious about it 😂
@@salbarskytower2546I'm thinking it's a little bit of both, because I see him saying "what's this" whenever an item comes up. Maybe he's actually learning how to express curiosity to his owner! :]
@@salbarskytower2546 He knows what the words mean. Parrots are about as smart as the average ~6 year old child. African Grey Parrots (Apollo's Species) are among the most intelligent of parrots, which have even surpassed cognitive intelligence tests made by Harvard University. In fact, they rival chimpanzees and other great apes with their ability to reason and perform cognitive tasks. You might not be able to teach the entire language to a parrot, and they may not be able to make out abstract meanings, but they definitely understand the words enough to use them to communicate with their caretakers just as apes do with sign language.
@@imnotnightmarez I think it's less curiosity and more 'stash. "New object? _What's this_ Now I can get more 'stash!"
7:30-7:35, his joke answer of Shrock and the laughing dance to show he knows, is my favourite of all 2022 moments.
It still blows my mind how young he is and how much he has already learned. Such a smart little lad. Love him to death. Especially the little "ooo"s he does. And the way he asks for "'stach?🥺". Always makes my day a little brighter.
Only a little???? Don't lie. We all live for Appollo here and so do you.
Well, he is just like a young child, they learn faster at that age.
His old is he?
Thanks to Apollo, my best bro, I have learned to relax, just as he told me.
"relax, okay? Relax, brother it's okay."
LMAOOOOO
My Pacific parrotlet, Cirrus, LOVES Apollo! And what's even cooler is that he's learning from him. Cirrus is starting to correctly choose items by material, and while we watched this video, he actually said 'metal' before Apollo did. Thank you for teaching my baby to love learning!
Wow
That’s amazing!

The way he touches the bell, looks at the camera and says "glass" is just perfect
“What do you want?” Apollo “pistache?” 🥺
I'm such a sucker 😂 I'd have to give him one.
I love when Apollo just answers "Shrek", "Shrock" or "Wario" whenever he feels like it.
The little "pistach?" at 8:00 is absolute gold. Peak comedy and comedic timing.
I love nothing more than Apollo saying "glAss" every time he taps the window with his beak. What a beautiful boy
Bro just making sure that's real glass
“No chewin’!” 😂 My favorite part is when Apollo is on his own riffing. Really interesting and well done with the training and stimulation! Turned me on to birds. You earn a Pistash! 👍🏼
I agree, watching him babble and practice vocals is so enjoyable
I love the parts where he wonders about new/unfamiliar objects. It’s always so fun to watch the antics surrounding those.
6:41 "oh i got the bird! oh i'm the bird." easily the best thing i've ever seen and heard.
6:56 that call ending sound was so accurate lmao
“Don’t order take out. Relax. Relax” good advice
1:42 The way he just looks dead in my eyes saying „c o r n“ 🌽
2:47 The fact that he knew it was a bell from you ringing it after you were focusing on identifying what it was made of is just amazing.
I love how he said “my shirt??” Like he actually realized he doesn’t wear shirts lmao amazing
3:21 bro had that entirely correct.
0:13 What kind of unholy things did that bird had to endure ? 🤣
Anything to earn that pistash! 😂😂😂
Makes me think of the bird who imitates an orgasm

Mama and papa be getting wild… but tbh it’s hard to get privacy when you have a permanent 5 year old with wings
We need a t-shirt that says “Apollo says relax” 😂
Yeah. He's pretty chill. 😅
It’s hilarious when you think about it, at 4:30 the guy on the other end doesn’t realize he’s talking to a parrot. I love it. Apollo’s such a troll
I love that he actually _asks_ what things are and what color they are. He wants to learn! Such a precious smart boy.
The way Apollo says "Uuugh ants?" And looks genuinely disgusted 😂
9:34 “relax brother” had me dead
at 1:55-2:08 i was vibing with the song and him😂
Relax brother it’s ok
That massage gun bit at 3:28 😂 It looks like Apollo tried to match the vibrations of the massage gun when he couldn’t bite it the first time.
it got me laughing
Hearing Apollo say "Relax" to me made me so happy, I've been stressed with school recently and it just so happened to make my day.
"yes, well, relax, okay? Relax, brother, it's okay."
I love that Apollo got to talk to scammers🤣🤣
I particularly enjoyed "hands off the corn" immediately followed by gunfire. Apollo really doesn't like others touching his corn apparently.
He probably heard "hands off the gun" on a TV show, and he thought they said "hands off the corn" The motives made a lot more sense in his bird head, because everyone loves the corn.
5:47 Ah-puh-puh-puh-puh-puh-pollo!
He's so darn clever - repeating things at the exact right situation, like the "don't chew".
"SUCK" *aggressive slurping sounds* 😂
I wonder where he heard that 💀
6:48 I wasnt ready 💀
I love how Apollo's mode of learning is through the power of *BONK!*
5:55 that pose 😂
“touch ur beak… boop!” MY HEARTTTT 🥺😭
i love his “glass” deadpan. he says it so matter-of-fact-ly.
im glad i found your channel this year, love you guys

Me 3.
Deep voice: 'GLASK'. We love Apollo!! So so much. It always amazes me how smart they are. The way he asks himself questions and answers then correctly haha. So so precious!! ❤
When he said “look squirrel “ i relate to that.
I don't know why, but him saying "relax brother, it's okay" really got to me :D
Omg having him answer the spam calls is brilliant! 😂😂😂
4:50 this bird knows how to handle scam calls
“Relax, brother. It’s okay.” Had me DYING
Him self teaching himself is the craziest thing like seeing him practice on his own is just wild
6:40 he did a bop aging 😂
I never knew I loved G L A S S so much until the prophet Apollo brought the good word.
this bird is smarter than a lot of adult humans .-)))
5:41 - 6:09 the most touching monologue EVER!!!! I cried of how different my life became after those words Also loving the moment where he says "Glass"
I heard "SUCK" and the sounds he made, I was like AAAYYYOOO 🤣🤣
2:00 also can we get a dance video of apollos just bobbing his head? instant internet sensation!
YES
1:55 sick moves
WOOOOOOW
I adore how he tells himself to touch his beak and then does it
0:48 Apollo just roasted us all 😂😂😂😂
Love how he said “this is a bell” without even being asked. He just heard it ring.
8:12 omg he going crazy
I find this bird so hilariously entertaining. What an intelligent and charismatic little fellow!! Big props to you for training him systematically and clearly taking great care of him. Much love from Maryland
0:50 HOLY SHIT ITS MICHAEL BIRD JACKSON
Apollo beautiful ❤❤❤
5:38 The way Apollo says "metal" like the human is silly for asking
Happy 2023! A Lot of shroks and glassks for everybody!
I love when he sees the flashlight, and Apollo asks "what's this color" and "what's this made of".... He really is amazing.
9:25 I love how sassy he is in his "Thats not yo butt GRrass!"
You guys are awesome. Thanks for sharing Apollo with us millions. I’ve just come across you and I instantly fell in love with your parrot, he’s just incredible. I’m an ICU nurse in London, I have played your videos to some of our long term patients. He puts a smile on everyone’s face, proper animal therapy ❤️ I try and show a short clip every day. Keep up the good work, you are helping people in remarkable ways that you would never have anticipated when you first started. 👍🏼🤩🥰❤️🙌🏼😂🤣😂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🤗

Apollo is so cute. I’m so glad I found him on this channel. ❤️
He speaks in the accent and intonation of the guy who’s teaching him. So cute.
i love apollo as he just says random actual sentences about random things can connect them properly but he just sounds like he has tourrets and i love it
Makes sense why he put Apollo on the phone to deal with customer service. He speaks their language. 😂

Apollo is a very special parrot, he is naughty, cute, adorable, smart, hilarious, great pronunciation, especially he knows how to make fun with Dalton and Tori, he also very gentle and kindness to Solei and Ofilia
Apollo is not only AMAZING but EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT!!!! You are the BEST PARENT EVER for this parrot!!!! You should be very proud of urself alllllll that u have taught him, GOOD JOB!!!!❤
3:42 Apollo playing with the theragun looks funny, especially that he tries to chew on it

6:23 had me dying
Apollo has become an important part of my day in just a few months time. He's an amazing bird, and wonderfully smart.. and his lifelesson that we should all relax is very much needed Edit: though I must say that i'm a little dissapointed that you didnt include his themesong "puh-ba-puh-bah bird"
He’s such a clever Apollo 👏👏
honestly y'all should reach out to avian behavior researchers, Apollo is one of those parrots where it really feels like we could finally understand what is going on in their heads the same way psychologists know what's going on in ours
4:19 And this „i wanna snack 🔫 😑” moment 😂
Happy New Year Apollo, GLASSK. "uggghhh ants uggghhh" -Apollo 2022
I loved it when he started telling himself to relax at the end😭
The bit with the white balls took me out! 😂 He is wonderful🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Apollo saying *Succ* has still been left unexplained
I love how he isn't just repeating words and stuff, he can recognize items.
