Nice work! Thank you Mr Hale for the ideas and challenge, I will try that with my choirs
Absolutely amazing.
This man andhis method of teaching are more than awesome. I am not a musician /singer in anyway, but I listen intently to the instructors and instructions. I have found quite a few that interest me and in my opinion they are good but Dr Hales' teaching, his attitude, demeanor, approach to teaching are outstanding. I can listen over and over. Each time it's more enjoyable that I even practice too because of how much I love music. Thank you .
If you love music and singing then I I strongly recommend that you take lessons. It is a very common misconception that you are either born with a good choice of not. On the contrary singing is taught just like any other instrument. In person lessons are most effective but if you can't afford the time or money then try working with a KZhead program.
Thank you Steven, I grew around music but sadly where I am from there weren't many teachers and my parents couldn't afford. Now in my 40s I don't think I 'd want to try. Just that when I listen to the teachers I sometimes get carried away and don't realise I'm doing it . Sometimes I just go along as it's natural for me to hum/sing while doing chores.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful warmups! I'm always on the lookout for some new exercises to try with my choirs. You have such a warm, welcoming energy with your students, and wow - what a gorgeous voice! :)
Thank you!
When you teaching music to musicians you get the best and people who know what they are doing.instructions are made on a note and they pick it and get it right at first time without any error .what a group of proffesionals.
Bravi bis. You tube had a good idea in proposing your video to me. I Will be 55 next xmas, I gave up with choirs around 2008 for family reasons but I adore seriously prepared choirs since junior school in London uk. You remind me a couple of choirs I much apreciated here in Rome including the "Diego Carpitella" La Sapienza University of Rome choir; gymnastics, stretching and warming up body and vocal chords is what turns a good choir into a superlative astonishing sound choir! I know that you know it since you are the Master. It was Just to say I was glad to see this demonstration video of yours. Greetings from Caput Mundis. 😊
Wow, this sounds great. I will test it with my choir 👍🏻😍
My heart nearly burst out of my chest with this. Such moving beauty. Subscribed

Thank you Phoebe for watching!
Hello gorgeous
Un día para recordar. Magnífico.💥🎵💥
The biggest thing separating and average choir from a great choir is that voice blending and the open vowels sounds. Fantastic warm up, great MD, great choir!
Great job!!! Well done!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏
As I youth in Wheeling WV, I studied under Jack Randolf (church chior) and Dr. Harold Wiesner (classical choir). You are VERY good. As also a vocalist and audio engineer, you are hitting all the bases. Diaphragm, larynx, vocal resonance via mouth and nasal... and training the head upward, and the vowel pronunciations. That is fairly complete. I love what I hear in this video. Very, very well controlled and vocally articulated. Wish I'd have had you as an instructor. I'm now 65 considering returning to solo or choir... I will use your techniques if I pursue vocal performance in my church. Thanks so much. Love your choir. The resonance and harmonics are absolutely perfect.
Truly loved this performance
Thanks for providing this. It is a great tool for school choirs and the kids really enjoy it as well!
Tom, So glad that it is useful to you! Hope to publish more soon as my classes begin on Monday!
