DaleyBricks has now left LEGO minifigures in Acid for over 365 days... Thats leaving lego in Acid for 1 year! The LEGO Minifigures have been left exposed to the worst dissolving chemicals in the world to absolutely destroy these lego minifigs with acid. What other substances should I leave lego in for an extended period of time? By the way, no expensive lego minifigures or rare lego star wars minifigures of any sort were used in this video. They were all $1 lego minifigures left in acid to be destroyed. Please don't conduct these lego science experiments at home. These lego experiments can be dangerous and shouldn't be attempted without an understanding of LEGO science! #lego #legominifigures #acid

  • Modern LEGO is made stronger, but if you have old ones the plastic is softer. I tried to wash some -60's and -70's bricks with soaking them in hot water causing them to become soft and bend. It did not have any effect on modern 1990 + bricks. Also try liquids that are sold in glass containers, they may have unique effects on plastic.

    • i would not say that the quality is better though as a 2023 minifigure head has a head crack from falling of a desk on its first hour of being outside the box while a 2008 clone trooper has no arm or torso or even helmet cracks after years of falling from similar hights

  • Apparently in the first movie they use acetone to remove the kraggle and I remember someone saying that while that does work it can have horrendous side effects on the lego plastic, especially in the amounts used in the movie. I guess you could say it removes glue, but it also removes you

  • Ok. So uh, you’re gonna get mold spores in the air with the coke and Red Bull ones. If you didn’t know, mold spores are very bad, people need gas masks just to get the mold out. (And you might need people to come to your house and remove them for you.)

  • by the way u should definitely try putting a lego minifigure in HEATED BLEACH (instructions: put the minifigure in a tub of bleach; then put it in a nice warm area at a high (perhaps 80℃ ?) temperature; then try not to die)

  • I think next time you should at least do the half and half outside so we can see what it did to the minifigure. And I think you should try maybe a type of oil, or maybe even some kinda slime.
