I got my first shot because in my Calif. area if someone is disabled or have certain health conditions they are eligible even if they are younger; I was so happy.

My old dad had switched from shearing us like sheep in the family barber stool to actually putting a bowl on our heads and just clipping whatever was sticking out. Luckily, this was a doomed, last-ditch effort. He could not stem the tide of all that hair (see the Cowsills' song). By '73, we were all little hippies, even in my Catholic school.
