  • Thank you so much, Rafa! This was a private VIP party during the Cannes Film Festival in France. The actress, Eva Longoria, invited Dimash to sing. The audience is the elite, the ultra-wealthy, and celebrities. I would say many, or most, of them are jaded. They've seen it all before. Some of them are even rude and arrogant in their manners toward this unknown foreign performer with a strange accent. And he's singing a beloved French song with less-than-perfect pronunciation no less. Still, Dimash manages to dominate the room quickly. Soon enough he has all these people standing with their phones out, chasing him, to record what they're witnessing. I bet many of them have never forgotten what they heard that night. :)

  • Querido profesor, como siempre es muy agradable escuchar su respetuoso análisis de nuestro amado Dimash, le cuento que la actriz Eva Longoria llevó como invitado a nuestro Dimash al Global Gift Gala 2017 ( Initiative Cannes),que se realizó en París, Francia. En la apertura del evento Dimash cantó All by myself de Celin Dion y Eva quedó tan impresionada y feliz que lo llevó a esa fiesta privada de empresarios y personas que donaron en el evento benéfico (para los más necesitados), que ella celebra todos los años en distintos países, ahí Dimash cantó SOS y All By Myself, puede revisar los videos que estan en You Tube (hay varios)..,incluso uno donde Dimash baila con ella 😁.. Por cierto Dimash hacía poco tiempo que había logrado dominar su poderosa voz mixta y en el rango que él canta es extraordinario que solo haya desafinado en esa parte que usted mencionó, él es magnífico,único..., yo alucino con su canto y sus canciones, lo amo..   • This was at the Cannes film festival in 2017 in France. Dimash had a bad throat infection in an earlier performance in France so likely was still recovering and not at his best. Dimash sick still sounds amazing. There are many fancam videos of Dimash singing without a microphone acapella in hallways, airports, backstage, etc. He always sounds amazing. And yes, Dimash is very human and gets sick, exhausted from nonstop performances, etc. which affects how well he sings. 2017 was an especially heavy year for the quantity of performances and 2018 even more so plus the number of air flight miles was ridiculous. You can find performances where it is obvious he is standing up by sheer willpower.

    • Yep u r absolutely right. Dimash’s schedule was so hectic during then that he fell sick with severe throat infection in around March 2017, the same period where he sang ‘daybreak’ (episode 8) in the singer competition, probably not fully recovered in episode 9 (all by myself) and episode 10 (unforgettable day) as well. It did not help when his schedule was so hectic with non-stop flying and singing. This SOS performance in Cannes film festival was in May 2017.   • This was at a charity dinner hosted by Eva Longoria at Cannes 2017. I absolutely adore this video. I think actually that one of the reasons he steps into the room is that he wants to get away from the speakers a bit. He has no in-ears as you can see. And to engage his audience of rich & famous people of course, like you said. What strikes me the most about this, apart from his otherworldly singing, is how different his energy is from everyone else. It's like there's a unicorn in the room, and even the spoiled Cannes people know it 💖🦄

  • Esse vídeo em especial é incrível. Ele está cantando com uma acústica horrível, sem nenhum retorno, com o som ambiente muito alto... É um verdadeiro "tour de force". Aos detratores, é só dar um Google. Dimash canta e se apresenta desde pequeno. Há um monte de vídeos dele cantando em pequenos eventos, em casamentos, em programas de tv, todos antes de 2017, quando ele ficou famoso na China e passou a ter acesso a grandes produções. Nesses vídeos você o vê cantando trechos com técnicas que ele depois incorporou nos concertos. Há versões de Diva Dance de 2015, 2016, em que ele não só canta o trecho com stacatto, mas canta a primeira parte da aria. Sobre a última nota de Ave Maria, por exemplo, você encontra um video em que ele está estudando como fazer essa nota com o crescendo e diminuindo ainda em 2017.

  • Dimash, já provou muitas vezes que ele é um cantor extraordinário. Eu assisti essa reação com professor estrangeiro, e gostei das observações dele . Ele disse: vocês perceberam que o Dimash, está em local barulhento, garçom circulando, mesmo assim ele consegue que todos foque nele. Ele falou exatamente o que você está falando Rafa. Que legal a mesma observação.   • Eu adorei sua reação professor sempre muito rica em informações. As pessoas que acusam este magnífico cantor de ser fake, apenas comprovam despeito por não terem capacidade de fazer melhor está pessoas sejam leigas ou vocal coach em vez de acusar façam cover do Dimash e provem que tem capacidade de fazer melhor. Em relação a estás histórias dele dublar em algumas apresentações elas desconhecem muitas vezes tanto Dimash como outros cantores não podemescolher fazer ao vivo por questão de contrato. Caso ele se recuse a cantar fazendo dublagem provavelmente pagará multa. Dimash não faz um apresentação sozinho existe toda uma equipe e acordo entre o contratante e o empresário de Dimash também eles levam em consideração a acústica do local se é possível fazer ao vivo em programas de tv

  • I believe this was at the Cannes Film Festival at a charity event. Seems like a rather small venue for him, BUT those people in that room are probably some of the most influential people in film and in the arts in the Western world. These are the people with the most power and the most ability to fund or obtain funding for the arts worldwide. They know people. They have contacts. They have money. A good a place as any to show off his talents a little LOL!! And you know he loves a charity gig!

  • Rafa arrasa sempre nas análises!!!! Realmente o Dimash não precisa ser defendido, existem muitos e muitos vídeos do Dimash cantando de muitas formas, no meio de shows, com microfone, sem microfone, e é sempre hipnotizante. Quando eu vi cantar a primeira vez fiquei paralizada, sem acreditar, ná hora notei que ele era muito diferenciado de tudo que eu já tinha escutado.   • Wonderful analysis!!! You've given by far the best explanation of why even the top singers sometimes have to use pre-recordings or sound effects in particular performances. A good example is Love of Tired Swans, where several major concerts (and the music video) use the same basic vocal track. But even here Dimash gives good value, as there are differences in the pauses, the look&feel, and even a few phrases sung differently. We need to keep in mind that Dimash is not simply a live singer, or a recording artist. He is a COMMUNICATOR and an ENTERTAINER. And to this end he has made himself the master of most aspects of music, so he has a vast "toolkit" of skills to produce unique musical experiences. The producers of the Singer 2017 show in China at first complained about "that foreign kid who makes outrageous demands on how his songs are arranged". But somehow after that first SOS, everyone was more than happy for Dimash to specify most aspects of production 🙂 And of course the Official Video of Be With Me shows Dimash swaggering, rapping, fighting a roomful of thugs, and romancing the girl. There doesn't seem to be anything he can't or won't do to reach his audience. And when you add in his stage presence, his brilliant song choices, his promotion of Kazakh music, and his 110% physical and emotional commitment to every performance, you end up with one of the greatest performing artists of all time. So, does Dimash ever lip-sync? Sure he does, sometimes, but you can be sure that when he does then it's the BEST damn lip-syncing you'll ever see!

    • Он как раз и сказал что все артисты, включая Димаша, поют иногда под фонограмму по разным причинам, но что это никак не умаляет их талант. Говорить что Димаш никогда не поет под фонограмму только вредит ему потому что очень легко доказать что такие случаи есть, и все специалисты сами прекрасно все видят и понимают. Проблема в фонограмме только в том случае, если певец ее использует потому, что не умеет петь. Такие певцы поют под фанеру всегда и везде, потому что в живую петь нормально не могут. Акцент надо ставить на том как прекрасно Димаш поет в живую, еще красивее чем в записи. В сети полно таких видео, которые это доказывают.

  • Bonjour Rafa! Dans le monde où nous vivons, je constate que chaque youtubeur est victime de ces imbéciles qui ne trouvent leur raison d'exister que dans le besoin de démolir l'"autre". Aujourd'hui encore, un gentil couple en France qui est passionné à partager leur passion pour le jardinage et la cuisine, qui font en moyenne trois vidéos par semaine, ont désactivé totalement l'accès aux commentaires de leurs abonnés, tellement ils sont lasses et perturbés par des commentaires haineux et malveillants. Comme c'est dommage!! merci pour cette mise au point . Au fait, je crois me souvenir que cette séance s'est déroulée à Nice, dans le sud-est de la France.Amicalement

  • Que lindo mestre Rafa, é óbvio que todos temos momentos em que em nossa profissão erramos sim, e não é isso que nos empobrece. Dimash é sim muito real e para mim nem precisa provar, o cara é bom mesmo. Existem vários cantores que precisam dublar em alguns lugares por problema técnicos tipo acústica, banda, entre outras coisas, isso é sim normal no mundo artístico. Este vídeo é impactante sim, a surpresa das pessoas que conhecem ou escutam Dimash pela primeira vez é sempre espantosa. Hehehe.
