I feel like if Naruto and Sasuke had continued to fight madara, they would’ve won. Eventually sasuke got better at using his rinnegan against Kaguya & Naruto learned he could fly completely negated the main advantage madara had over them--six paths levitation. Since Naruto would’ve been able to fly, he could stay in CQC against madara while sasuke helped. If kakashi still obtained temporary minor Six path powers from obito, madara would’ve been demolished for sure.

Just realized something. Obito wanted Saukra to destroy his (Madaras) rennegan. So he asked Sakura to stab it with a knife. I can see why anyone would hesitate. Obito and Sakura. But in the Naruto Universe. Eye Balls can be removed and exchanged easily. why not ask her to remove that eye, and destroy it? Sakura is likely only hesitating because of the amount of agony it would cause. But come on, removal like what itachi did vs be stabbed must be worth considering. "Sakura, please, remove this eye. I've been through this eye exchange before. Just remove this one and destroy it any way you see fit. Madaras power will be greatly reduced"

Given the emergency at hand Obito likely knew to just flst out destroy the eye first and foremost. Sakura removing it and then contemplating its destruction is already too many steps and time they didnt have. Which if course doesnt matter since she fumbles and doesnt stab his eye.

Just realized something. Obito wanted Saukra to destroy his (Madaras) rennegan. So he asked Sakura to stab it with a knife. I can see why anyone would hesitate. Obito and Sakura. But in the Naruto Universe. Eye Balls can be removed and exchanged easily. why not ask her to remove that eye, and destroy it? Sakura is likely only hesitating because of the amount of agony it would cause. But come on, removal like what itachi did vs be stabbed must be worth considering. "Sakura, please, remove this eye. I've been through this eye exchange before. Just remove this one and destroy it any way you see fit. Madaras power will be greatly reduced"

That Rinnegan belongs to Madara by DNA, Sasuke wouldn't have been able to make full use of it (just like Nagato and Obito) + using eyes of another person uses extra chakra. Basically it's better for him to develop his own Rinnegan rather than borrow someone else's
